you can't really go into this talking only about marijuana b/c the question was about all drugs. i am all for legalization of cannabis but strongly against hard drugs such as heroine or crack/cocaine. these drugs are highly harmful and no good. you can't OD on cannabis so there is no reason to do hard drugs when you could get just as high on a lot of weed depending on how seasoned a smoker you are.

@TheMItchonary I agree and disagree. If cannabis were to be decriminalized, it would be for medicinal use only. It's the patients responsibility to uphold him/her self and maintain. Those with severe disabilities could put the medicine to good use and they deserve to use it. Why not get treated with the organic marijuana along with government drugs at once? it can help economically, but to answer your question it variates on the persons who smoke the plant and if they can obied by the laws (UTI)

I live here in AZ and i was pulled over and given a DUI for blowing a .04 and have a pipe in my truck that the cop said was worm to the touch but really wasn't in fact it was under the passenger set. Most of your points are pretty good, but the your one statement about prohibition ending and all of the smugglers stopping because they had no more business was actually not true. After prohibition there still was and still are people today that bootleg alcohol just to evade the taxes put on it and i assume the same thing would happen with cannabis but the black market for marijuana would go down substantial.

That's untrue. Listen to what that old cop is saying man.. fighting any drug is a waste of time! Nothing's changed. The same amount of people shoot heroin now as they did back in the 50's or the 80's or whenever! The problem(from my perspective) is a good portion of people are going about the issue the wrong way. Take it one "drug" at a time. instead of grouping Cannabis/Marijuana with all the others. It's a serious debate so there's no room for trial and error? is that what Obama's saying? with the idea of legalizing cannabis you have to consider the pros and cons. So it's decided from negative point of view, as to what those cons might be and how it would affect the economy, taking in mind the economy could be scaled on the pro end if it were decriminalized.
The pros would go long for a touch down, with the possibilities to weigh out, the pros can go all the way!

@TheMItchonary I agree and disagree. If cannabis were to be decriminalized, it would be for medicinal use only. It's the patients responsibility to uphold him/her self and maintain. Those with severe disabilities could put the medicine to good use and they deserve to use it. Why not get treated with the organic marijuana along with government drugs at once? it can help economically, but to answer your question it variates on the persons who smoke the plant and if they can obied by the laws (UTI)

I live here in AZ and i was pulled over and given a DUI for blowing a .04 and have a pipe in my truck that the cop said was worm to the touch but really wasn't in fact it was under the passenger set. Had to do 45 days in jail one year probation and 56 hours of AA and im still paying off a $5000 fine! If we can barely even convince barely a 1/5 of this country's states to legalize MMJ then how do you think people will react to someone calling for legalization of heroin, cocaine, etc? I smoke a gram or less a day... stop deviating from the topic, you are confusing mild drug users ordered by court with people who really need help. Why wouldn't someone find a rehab center just cause they courts order some to rehab? Some are private... think before you make a video, going both ways.

A good friend of mine passed away in June from a drug overdose mix of alcohol, xanax, and fentanyl. All legally excessable to people in our country. This shit has to stop. Legalize.
