The voices are pretty good, although I'm not really fan of radio dramas so I probably wont be a regular listener, sorry! As the rest said, Shigure is perfect <3

Are you going to do all of the manga? Or are you going to follow the anime? ._. This is very good. though I agree about Yuki. His voice is a tad deep in my opinion. Since people tend to tease him for being girly like. lol

@AyameOojoSama Yes, we plan on doing the ENTIRE manga. Some episodes may be edited to flow a bit more, hopefully better than this first one... but... overall, more true to the manga.

I was going to say that Shigure's voice is FREAKING AWESOME! Whoever he is, he's PERFECT. I'd like to see more inflection in the School President's voice and Tohru's mother's voice. I'm also really looking forward to Kyo...

I love what you did with the school girls, and great job with the mixing, although in the baking scene at the end, I kind of had a hard time hearing the voice actors sometimes. :)

Anyway, big thing of constructive-ness: The music/sfx seemed to overpower the dialouge, making it hard to hear what some of the characters were saying.

Side comment:

From what I could tell, Yuki sounded older than Shigure, but maybe you could be shooting for that, after all I know the reverse is true for the voice actors. (and who am I to talk? I look 10 years younger than I am yet somehow sound 10+ years older than I really am XD)

will work on the background music as well.... will probably do some remastering after A-Kon so...! we'll see what happens!

And actually I LOVE Shigure, LOL. This guy sounds a lot like John Burgmeier.

I don't remember who John Burgmeier is at the moment, but I think that's sweet. When I'm doing the voice I try to hit what sounds like Crispin Freeman doing Captain Tylor in my head- and then my voice is deeper than that so it kind of creates some weird hybrid- hopefully giving it some semblance of a unique portrayal of the character.

So please find some good constructive critique for me too, ma'm. :3

@supermanwich23 Burgmeier is Shigure's official English Dub voice. I see what you mean...Freeman's one of my faves. You're pretty excellent at this, though. I'm impressed by your capacity to sound like you are truly reacting to the others when I know Karlie is forced to splice you all together from separate performances. Can't tell at all when you are "interacting" with Tohru and Yuki. But I will try to keep a critical ear peeled!

Part two!

Since constructive critique is best, so I thought I'd give you some. I am not sure if it is the microphones or people's voices, but I think some of the actors need some lessons in inflection and especially in enunciation. Words are often slurred and it's a bit distracting.

Yuki's voice is a little startling--respectfully, I think he may need some coaching in sounding younger and meeker. Although I think you were going for English Dub Yuki, right?

@supermanwich23 i think part of yuki's deal is that it was his first time recording at all and he was really unsure of himself.... when i did some retakes for him, they didn't fit in at all with quality so i think part of it is just him learning how to handle the mic. me, i had advice beforehand so....

meaning, that with Yuki's VA.... and his takes... the second takes were better, but, instead of just having him redo it like i probably should have.... i just went with the original take.

Karlie, this is great! I don't have professional voice acting/directing credentials, but I can still recognize a hard effort when I hear it! Excellent sound effects and mixing.
