Sh. Sharif is a true leader but I believe he flanked on how he resorted to Insurgency. There are times when you should compromise for the common good. Do they forgot that even Prophet Mohammed once (his first Hajj) agreed to the Quraish pegan's rules. That tells to compromise if that leads to the common good and the long term benefit. If would do that, we would not have Abdulahi Yousuf in place and Ethiopia would swallow a topaz plade. He just gave that away.
Prophet Muhammed only negotiated after the Muslims got the upper hand. Otherwise he would have negotiated before he was expelled from Mecca, before Badr etc. and Islam would have gained nothing. That's why Allah says never to negotiate from a weak position.
Negotiation by its very definition is give and take process and it has nothing to with how has the upper hand and who does not. OF course there are non-negotiable terms such as what you refered as to Mecca expalsion (Which was basically refraining from Islam and thus non-negotiable). War is about trying to gain and not trying to be stuporn. The Sheikh had a golden chance to save many lives, dead today, and surely if he had done that, he would have more of what he has now.

I personaly know ppl that have positioned returned in xamar, and they are not from the same tribe.
If you have bought a position in somalia before the war then contact them, they will look at the lists of ppl written by the old gov't. You will then only have to pay 50 pounds.

Why are u so disproportionate, 10's thousands died because of warlords. Now they got expelled, at a cost of lets say 500 ppl. If the warlords were around they would have killed more than that in the same period.

Why don't Islamic Courts afraid or don't want no peacekeepers in Somalia, maybe because they trying to be in power. Let Peacekeepers in so that they can help restore Somalia back to normal. A peaceful Somalia is peaceful Africa. Abdullahi Yusuf was chosen as a "Transitional" president. They need to help him not alieanate him. All the neighboring countries want Somalia to be stable because it's affecting the whole region.

Islamic Courts...they call themselves Islams...there is a gov't already created. The Islamic Courts are making Somalia move two steps back. Leave Mogadishu alone and give it to the gov't. Somebody needs to take care the so-called Islamic courts, what do they know about running the country. The problem with Somalia is everybody wants to run the gov't.
