@FancyTophatDude I think if they turn this into anything it will end up being the entrance to his prison and the fey dragons return periodically to ensure he isn't breaking out.

Still, if they DO go through with one, I bet the entrances would be at the Four Great Trees. You know, the ones in Duskwood, Hinterlands, Feralas, and uh... forgot the last one.

And druids would get a spell to teleport to it directly.

@KisiroKitsune last one in winterspring i thing? ya maybe. each gate leads u into a different zone in emerald dream. although its going to be a pain in the ass just to zone out and travel to the next portal.

And no I don't think you'd have to zone out. It'd be like how there are boats/zeps to Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra, but you don't need to go back to the old world to go to the other one.

I'm not sure if an Emerald Dream expansion would work. The main threat, the Nightmare, was defeated in the book "Stormrage."

well, an emerald dream zone would be something for a future expansion, since the emerald dream is basically azeroth without the mortal races (and it even has different layers), but a n'zoth raid would be more than appropriate - especially after we defeat death wing (who is actually controlled by n'zoth). n'zoth is btw also the old god who corrupted the emerald dream

IDEA. Maybe blizzard cqn finish up that emerald dream zone they never finished and when the faerie dragons come and make the portal, the portal will let you teleport to the emerald dream but ONLY when while its open. Maybe it can happen once a day. Idk i think that would be kinda neat

Something else Blizz could add in that would be pretty cool would be a Buff that only Forsaken players could get when they stepped into the circle that turns them back into humans...Living... you know what i mean. it doesn't have to make any sense. You could say the Fey-Drunk Darters are trying to bring life back into the land and the Buff is just a side effect.

Once they all spawned I know it took over 30min for them to sing. So it may even be longer. It's maybe just random

actualy the faerie ring has been there a lot longer then 4.1. it was there before cata hit. A friand and I used to explore hidden areas in the game, yes even GM Island. the ring of mushrooms has been there since wrath. the trees were added in cata, and the zone name and the animals were 4.1

I agree with other posters, probably emerald dream related.

@ragemalachi No, it wasn't. That ZONE was there before cata, but it was a bunch of jagged and unfinished terrain with some ascending spikes at one point. The ring was not there. I'm a HUGE buff about these "secret" zones and explored nearly every one before and after cata.
