the SUV is usually the cheif or fire marshall who almost always goes, and juduging by the order of the trucks i would say its a structural fire so 3 trucks wouldn't be unusual

OMG! Not all intersections have them. The light changed because the timer told it to. But maybe it wasn't functioning properly. who cares really?

It appears that both the lead engine and the truck have their traffic signal changing transmitters activated.  As the engine crests the hill the light changes to green but as they get closer the light turns red in their direction!! Why did it change? If the system is working it should have stayed green until after they had passed.

It appears that the receiver isn't working correctly. Never, ever, rely on those for just this reason.

There were rigs coming from 2 directions at the same time If I were a signal changing transmitter I think I would get confused and say ahhhhhh screw it myself, that intersection has a 4 way receiver and seeing trucks were comming from both directions, probably needs some tweeking..

the transmitter keeps 3 on red and the green for the rigs, this way if there is traffic ahead of them its usually clear by the time they get there..
