  • Do you have any or anywhere a diagram of how to set up the two vessel system or how the two vessels would be setup to work together vs. just one vessel.

  • how would the carbon acids from the hydrolysis unit be transferred to the methanogenesis unit ? i didnt quite catch that part . and btw is the unit available for sale already ?

  • Thank you for your question. You are correct in that you can use one vessel. However, two vessels provide two environments, one suited to the hydrolysis bactera & the other suited to the methanogenesis bacteria. This arrangement is typically more stable and eases startup. The methanogensis bacteria culture grows more slowly than the hydrolysis bacteria culture. The amount fluid fed to the methanogenesis unit can be controlled thus mitigating instability problems associated with overloading

  • Why dont you fill the apple directly into the digestor? Whats the advantage of the "hydrolysis"? Isnt that done inside the digestor usually?
