I dont like to block the tail attacks... it'll nickel and dime chunks of heatlh. Once you see him turn his head to start the attack head under him. If you are used to using a gunlance another way to get in some damage is when he stands up to roar if you are super close to him face the same way he is so when he roars you wont get thrown(sounds weird but it works) count 3 seconds and start attacking. Same principle as blocking khezu's electric attack... This guy is a great way to get rich quick!

For the 02:48 attack, i have another way to deal with it, turn sideway and block, the risk is that you could still get that armor down de-buff, but you will end up right beside its head after the attack. Given problem of fighting large monster with PSP's screen is that the monitor easily cramped and you can't see anything, i prefer to stay outside its stomach most of the time.

BTW, silver sol set suck, too costly to make yet the skills it give isn't that great

@ScaroftheAncients i personaly would get gunchariot because of the raw power and dragon attribute but that is just me if i remeber corectly u need one ruby for each peice of azure soal and they arnt easy to come by exept at G level silver los plus that armor isnt that good compaired to others on the same level

@FlameableMusic that attack dosnt dammage u if ur about one body length of the akantor away from it if u look at it when it finishes there are two lines of dust on ether side of the wind tunnel thing as long as ur not bettween those to lines u wont get hit

Gun Chariot = 20 mins on MHFU as long as you do nothing fancy i.e. don't get too greedy on your hits and block lots. I'm sure that you could get it down to 15 mins but 20-25 is my average.

For plates make a g rathalos quest cut off the tail and if its not a plate give up and restart the mission.

dia if ure really good with it and I would suggest evade+2 for hammer runs, my first try (and my standart ones) are with smolder and silversol takes like 12minutes when u go safe

the hammer run will be done in like 8 or less

ofc if u go all out on them u need a bit less maybe but might die, so i´d prefer going carefully^^

He's using the Hermitaur armor. I dont know if it's the reg. or S set, but hermitaur gives you Guard +2 which reduces dmg / pushback of attacks. Some attacks still hurt though.
