For people's information who are saying Jesus had no religion: Jesus had a religion. He was a Jew. He observed the laws, celebrated the holidays, read the Torah, and attended the local synagogues.
I have always loved Annr Rice and her writing, I collect her books.
I have always been a goth (I still am), but I myself have come to Christ in the past year and I understand exactly what she is saying. He is real, His supernatural power is real.
Be blessed Anne, I look foward to reading your books about Christ.
Never lose sight of your faith, Jesus is the way the truth and the life :) God bless :)

"Memnoch, The Devil, "was, in my opinion, her greatest novel. That story rekindled my own faith and has allowed me to question the possibility of Heaven.
Anyone may believe whatever they wish. What of it? Someone else's spiritual belief is no concern of mine. That is up to them. My beliefs are my own, and I wouldn't presume that someone else should care to discuss them. Anymore than someone else should presume that I would care to discuss theirs.
Everyone quit bashing Anne. She still keeps her faith and belief in Christ, and like the person below me stated: Christ had no religion. I am an agnostic and I believe that the only thing important out of all this nonsense is to keep your faith strong in Christ and only Christ.
Funny how some people are full of pride being Christians when Jesus had no religion.Guess you guys never bother to think what's the difference between being spiritual and being religious. So before you rush to judge her for what she is or not , take a good look in the mirror and ask yourselves if it's God you are worshiping or if it's Christianity.
I don't believe for a second she's a Christian. No conversion to Jesus Christ, just profession. "Writing for God" is not grace through faith, it's works. see also: watch?v=l5Wb5CnYrmA
@FreshPotatoMafia Well, more appropiately, because she doesn't like the hate that she perceives Christianity as accepting. Which, incidentally, isn't a viewpoint that's unique to Christianity, that's basically how the Emergent Church came about.
@FreshPotatoMafia She was a christian growing up, then she turned into a skeptical atheist, now she gave religion Christianity a chance, she realized its full of hate, now she just worships Jesus and god in her own way, without having anything to do with Christianity, so shes a follower of Jesus, but shes not Christian.
