I never thought of this video to be this good. I think that sf and kof do have good games and combos of each. idc if ppl say that snk or capcom is better. i enjoy both games well enough to own a few games of them. kof is good for players who like to mash a lot which i find no problem. sf4 kinda sucks cause some button mashing dont stick to well as alpha 3 or even third strike. i just think that they shouls make cvs3 with both engines or at least some of third strikes engine with kofs.
Okay so a lot of people here are comparing two good game series (if you don't count SFIV or any iteration of it and KoF XII). I have to cut in here and say that both games are usually pretty heavy on fundamentals and require an understanding of them to be good. They both require skill, but I have to say that KoF beats out SF in this department only because of the ridiculous execution requirements. KoF isn't a game for everybody, but neither is SF. Stop arguing and enjoy what you play.
Kof is the shit, street fighter, capcom and all those americanized games are for little kids, specially the animation, looks so gay and only because newer versions have high quality graphics americans like it but animation still sucks, I say it by pure experience, i've played all kof games, snk, capcom fighting games and kof is the best in variety and animation
This video is almost five years old... great games these of Neo Geo, KoF 2002 is probably the best, after all Shermie comes back (it was a waste to kill her on KoF 97) and other cool girls like Mature appear as well. My favourite team is indeed Mai, Shermie and Mature, and I manage to do efficient smashing buttons with them (that's right, I still don't know how I make those combos...). Long live SNK.
This game hurts my eyes, its ok. but I still stick with capcom. In my opinion it look good but the models do look kinda goofy. I played KOF XII and I couldnt tell who Terry Bogard was??? I had to read the name. plus Joe Higashi looked way too skinny. Still ripped but skinny. He looked nicer in SnkVCapcom 2. Actually all the King Of Fighters models looked better in sVc 2, thts just my opinion. Anyway nice combo video. Its kinda goofy how the specials look but you pulled of the combos.

Capcom does sell more and snk has these ridiculous button combonations, its too difficult for a beginner to pick up and play while having fun. Street Fighter on the other hand, anyone can pick it up and still do good while having fun, then they have to learn the basic and then get into learning the specials, when to pull them off, and use different techniques against ur opponents. It has way more to it than, Its got alot of depth to it.

@aznpikachu215 I second this. I am just now trying to get into these fighting games I missed due to my lack of going anywhere outside of my comfort/interest zone as a child. Combos like these are no where in my league yet im getting the basic fighting movements down. SF is much easier than KOF but Im willing to keep practicing so I can beat the people that got me in this. That is my primary goal as opposed to attaining the level of the video. Just like my fighting style, aim low. ^_^

Back then, SF characters were very stylistic i.e. just damn cool, whereas KOF characters were seen as a-dime-a-dozen i.e. resembling characters from the low-ranking enemies in FF and Streets of Rage, etc.
Now, looking deeper, KOF characters are more rugged, more "fierce", more unique looking.
'95: love Heiden, Kyo; '97: love Kyo, Iori, King, Clark/Ralf. SSMB played only Samus--yeah not the adventurous type.

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is up now on Xbox Live Arcade. I highly recommend anybody with a 360 to buy this updated version of 2002, its pretty goddamn awesome. New stages, new music, k9999 was taken out for a better version of him named Nameless and you can unlock the NESTS bosses

I can't wait for KOF13. It's everything that KOF12 should have been. All the characters that people wanted are back (Mai, K', Maxima, King, etc.). However, I just want one (real) KOF game with EVERYBODY in it, including Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, World Heroes, Power Instinct, etc. Biggest... game... EVER (and a real one, not a broken, low-frame-rate, keyboard controlled MUGEN game).

The only combos I know are Joe's punches and King's kicks; still trying to learn KOF, came from SF and MK.
KOF was not that "mainstream" as SF or MK in the 16-bit era, it is very unique in its own way.

This video is almost five years old... great games these of Neo Geo, KoF 2002 is probably the best, after all Shermie comes back (it was a waste to kill her on KoF 97) and other cool girls like Mature appear as well. My favourite team is indeed Mai, Shermie and Mature, and I manage to do efficient smashing buttons with them (that's right, I still don't know how I make those combos...). Long live SNK.

This game hurts my eyes, its ok. but I still stick with capcom. In my opinion it look good but the models do look kinda goofy. I played KOF XII and I couldnt tell who Terry Bogard was??? I had to read the name. plus Joe Higashi looked way too skinny. Still ripped but skinny. He looked nicer in SnkVCapcom 2. Actually all the King Of Fighters models looked better in sVc 2, thts just my opinion. Anyway nice combo video. Its kinda goofy how the specials look but you pulled of the combos.

the damage ratio for all of the SNK characters is alot lower then the capcoms
the only characters that ar over powers are geese and rugal
it's so unbalanced
if you want something done properly
snk always does it
play SVC chaos and watch how snk actually made all the capcom characters much better then capcom themself
and even the sprites looked much better why do you think capcom went back to 3D sprites XD cause snk has the better ones

@kyuubiflame svc chaos is UuUuUugly.....3rd strike looks damn good to this day. I can't really even say that about king of fighters 12. It's pretty and all...the models are fucking goofy. I'll give you one thing though...I'm sure that "easy to pull off and hard to get around" technique is none exixtant in kof series....you know the one (hadoken hadoken...sweep hadoken hadoken SHORYUKEN!) its possible to get around but the person giving has an extremlely unfair advantage. hd remix kinda fixed it.

I could use the"street fighter sells better which mean more people like it" argument. But, I'm not saying one is better than the other..you are. capcom goes for when to pull moves off, Snk goes for when to pull off and memorize rediculous button combonations...yup that sure makes it better. Capcom does sell more and snk has these ridiculous button combonations, its too difficult for a beginner to pick up and play while having fun. Street Fighter on the other hand, anyone can pick it up and still do good while having fun, then they have to learn the basic and then get into learning the specials, when to pull them off, and use different techniques against ur opponents. It has way more to it than, Its got alot of depth to it.

He dont have to do any thing tht he isnt trained for. especially people tht dont play the game often. I have friends tht dont know the game and can still put up a good fight with just basic moves and being random. @aznpikachu215 I second this. I am just now trying to get into these fighting games I missed due to my lack of going anywhere outside of my comfort/interest zone as a child. Combos like these are no where in my league yet im getting the basic fighting movements down. SF is much easier than KOF but Im willing to keep practicing so I can beat the people that got me in this. That is my primary goal as opposed to attaining the level of the video. Just like my fighting style, aim low. ^_^

Capcom milked SF2 then, they're milking SF4 now.
Back then, SF characters were very stylistic i.e. just damn cool, whereas KOF characters were seen as a-dime-a-dozen i.e. resembling characters from the low-ranking enemies in FF and Streets of Rage, etc.
Now, looking deeper, KOF characters are more rugged, more "fierce", more unique looking.
'95: love Heiden, Kyo; '97: love Kyo, Iori, King, Clark/Ralf. SSMB played only Samus--yeah not the adventurous type.

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is up now on Xbox Live Arcade. I highly recommend anybody with a 360 to buy this updated version of 2002, its pretty goddamn awesome. New stages, new music, k9999 was taken out for a better version of him named Nameless and you can unlock the NESTS bosses

I can't wait for KOF13. It's everything that KOF12 should have been. All the characters that people wanted are back (Mai, K', Maxima, King, etc.). However, I just want one (real) KOF game with EVERYBODY in it, including Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, World Heroes, Power Instinct, etc. Biggest... game... EVER (and a real one, not a broken, low-frame-rate, keyboard controlled MUGEN game).
