Romantic music is very free styled. You can take at the speed of your desire. Whichever sounds good to you. The music has to sound romantic.

everyone plays it differently and have their own interpretation so it's kinda hard to tell who's better

they all sound different but really, it depends on the individual and the examiner (if you are doing it for grade 8 which i am, and if the examiner doesn't like your way of interpreting it then you are screwed)

This is a really nice interpretation. A little faster than I play it in some parts, but still quite nice.

chopin is all about putting feeling in, slowing down and playing faster when you feel it fits. that's what i like about romantic music, it is more personal and each pianist plays differently.

Chopin wanted it to have rubato- and lots of it. If you played it like a metronome, it would sound nothing like he wanted it.
