Circle lenses are not good for you on the long term (as your eyes move the pupils constantly have to adjust themselves, because the lens moves a little slower than your natural lens and that can put a strain on them, at least that was what my optician told me)

See an eye doctor before ordering circle lens. My regular contacts are 14.0mm -.50 pres. and my circle lens are the exact same. I even brought my pair to my eye doc to ask his opinion. He said as long as the mm is the same size and the pres. strength is the same and you get them from reputable distributors then you should be okay. He said just excersise caution & use at your own risk as the lens is thicker and absolutely NO OXYGEN to the eye. He said using them as cosmetic 4 hr lens is ok.

These have been all over the news lately. Optometrists saying they can cause eye problems like blindness due to the fact that they aren't properly fitted to your eyes. Contacts aren't one size fits all - though they may seem that way at first just because they don't hurt, irritate, etc... Idk, I have small eyes but I'd rather not fix something that isn't broken.

it took 3 months, because you get them directly from the warehouse. you have a huge order and take sales from everyone, and then send out the order, wait for them to ship in, etc. instead of in-stock lenses which are pricier.

its a hard trade off!!! i love lenses :')

I"m kinda worried about actually buying those things. With regular contact lenses that you'd get from your optometrist, they'd be measured precisely to fit your specific cornea shape. I've heard that wearing "cheap" (I mean non-prescription stuff) lenses can actually be damaging to your eyes? As much as I'd love to try out these things, it seems a bit sketchy!

I ordered from this company just recently I got the ck-105 and the nudy browns, after I sent in my order I was looking for other coloured contacts and realized that theses contacts are 14mm and the freshlook im wearing now are 14.5. I think circle lenses look awesome. BUT! I've been discouraged from buying them because I've read that they are detrimental to your vision because they supposedly cut off oxygen supply to your retinas. I don't know if it's true or not. I hope not...I really want to try them. I'm wondering if you've heard anything similar.

@babytobrean Circle lenses do not entirely cut off oxygen supply to your retinas, however they do not supply as much oxygen to your eyes (because the diameter is larger than regular contacts, hence why they are called "circle lens") as the contacts prescribed from your optometrist.

@hiddenradiance I only wear them for special occasions..I think i mentioned this in my video..but wearing contacts especially ones that don't help with breathing..aren't good for you..so I don't wear it for more than 8 hours.

i dont think most viewers know this but contact lenses are considered medical devices and should be fitted and prescribed by your optometrist, not self prescribed. i understand that this fad has grown in popularity but there are consequences to improper use and care for any contact lenses ranging from mild discomfort to corneal ulcers which can cause vision loss. this is important especially for people who have never worn contacts and are not educated on the importance of proper lens care.

The whole point of circle lenses are to create an enlarging effect for your eye, hence why there isn't a "fitting" process for this type of specific lens.

@tiffiex The "fitting" process doesn't have anything to do with the diameter of the lens. Every contact lens, circle lenses included, have different base curves, lens material and dk values (which tells you the oxygen transmissibility), The base curve affects how tight or loose a lens fits. Too tight or too loose can cause problems. All these factors affect how the lens acts on the eyes. Its different for everyone. Hence my previous statement that they really shouldn't be self-prescribed.

Do you see a significant change in the size of your eyes after putting them in? And do the contacts shift in your eyes when you blink causing the color to blur your vision? (I had that problem with Fresh Look color lenses because they would keep going over my pupil every time I blinked).

I'm thinking about getting the green geo angel ones, but am hesitant because of my previous negative experiences with color lenses.
