  • sinatra was too old for this, sounded shocking.

  • Bello, sempre più bello!

  • You ruined this rendition with your stupid fucking echo overlay... Next time just let the voices speak for themselves rather than being an idiot and making two of the greatest singer sound like they are singing into a fucking tin can...

    Xoán Eiriz

  • due grandi impronte lasciate su questa terra

  • Pavarotti looks like Sean Connery in middle years

  • italian people, best singers in the world

  • i just got goose bumps, two of the greatest

  • The needless echo effect really takes away from displaying their talents.

  • WU-TANG FOREVER!!!

  • @scruffyrunkin How applicable. Thank you for reminding us all. We almost forgot about them.

  • @Veggieman87 (SMILE)...believe it or not i saw the RZA eating dinner with Mr. pavorotti when i was on a visit in germany 2 yrs ago. i even have a picture of the three of us together with both of their autographs on a u.s 100 dollar bill.

  • @scruffyrunkin Okay, that is pretty freaking awesome. Random, but awesome.

  • lmao i heard the Frank hated this song so much.......lol

  • How on Earth can someone compare Pavarotti or any opera singer with a popular singer. Besides, in this song Pavarotti is singing like a baritone and it doesn't sound right. But then again, popular music is not meant to be performed by opera singers, and arias are not meant to be performed by popular singers... period. I don't see Robert Plant singing Nessum Dorma and I certainly don't see Domingo singing Stairway to Heaven. So cut the crap, all of you. Really.

  • woohoo. robert plant rules and is better

  • I agree, blockra55. The best singers of the 20th century: Sinatra (particularily when he was very young) and Pavarotti. I love good music, whether it's pop, classical, jazz, classic rock and roll, and grand opera. Sigh... all good stuff!!

  • la voz sinatra . todos las humnidad tiene a su manera my way

  • WOW...MANNNN

  • BEST SONG WITH BEST SINGERS EVER AND EVER

  • I still can't believe Pavarotti is gone, even almost three years after he passed away. :( I miss him very much. This song was very appropriate for the day he died.

  • Pavoratti's voice is classic and he is my hero for beating anorexia, but this song belongs to Frank Sinatra. Kudos to Paul Anka for writing it.

  • ?? 25 percent and 50 percent only makes 75 percent.

  • Perfection!

  • Pavarotti is one of the best opera singers of all time - but one of the 2 best singers of the 20th century? Hell no. How many people do you see listening to him? Don't you find Sinatra's voice so much better for this song than his even though his lungs aren't nearly as impressive? Can you imagine Pavoratti singing something like Hey Jude? It would be awful. Opera is a completely different animal from the type of singing that most people enjoy, and should be considered separate.

  • @superman11978

Just to be clear, I agree with you, but I don't even think of Pavarotti as one of the best opera singers of all time. He just got famous by singing cross-over songs (like this one or like "Con Te Partire"), singing some songs that give easy goosebumps. Qualitatively and emotionally, there are far better opera singers (even still today).

I also don't believe that the number of people listening to a singer, measures how good that singer really is.

    But your point ís correct!

  • @milenecthefirst agreed. If that were a deciding factor, then Hannah Montana and Vanilla Ice are two of the greatest singers of all time :p

His fame was the same reason Robbie Williams and Richard Cheese are famous (Richard especially being an asshole and acting as if he worked hard on said songs with his DMCA filing and lawsuit threats) They used other peoples songs that were already good, and rode that songs coattails to fame. He isnt bad mind you, he just is not that good either.

  • R.I.P. Luciano.. :o(

  • his voice not everyone can have...

go watch his video "hero by mariah carey and pavarotti"

i think he is some1 with special blessed voice.. haha =D

    goodbye my idol =D

  • Take a look I´m singing My Way /watch?v=0jOBwF8WC0A

  • Essa foi a melhor gravação para My Way. Interpretação impecável do Sinatra (gênio) e Pavarotti (fantástico). Sensacional, pena que o som ficou com um pouco de eco. Mas não tira o brilho dessa regravação. Parabéns!

  • hi wonder if you might take a listen to my version of this song would appreciate it just put in BOBVOCAL OUR WAY. changed title a little but will still work thanks bob

  • Dos genios... dos portentos... Amo esta versión, aunque existen cientas... y esta es una de las mejores junto a la de Elvis.

  • Big Luciano the best in the world.

  • I loved him more than I could ever sing.

I saw him in the rain in Hyde Park in 1990 and until now I had forgotten, Diana, I think was the main draw and possibly organised it.

  • I was there that evening too. Amazing.

  • I was there that evening too. Amazing.

  • Pavarotti's last note in this song is much much more impressive than Sinatra's

  • Sinatra was pure, this was more digital.

  • Los dos hombres mas guapos sobre la faz de la tierra cantando desde.. no se sabe donde..Genial

  • fantastic of world .....o mundo perdeu um grande tenor.

  • Man as arrogant as Man can be..!

not only he is sure is is immortal...!

he is sure he will go to paradise and talk to Frank, Luciano, Santa, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins and maybe to Santa pedoMikaela surrounded by cherubs ( with 4 inches pink things ) !!

    Worms food..you and I !!

  • Fantastic performance! Love this song!

RIP Luciano Pavarotti and Frank Sinatra!

  • Block....You are so, so right.....I am an Idiot...and I can attest to the fact that they sure are the best....and on a serious note....I sure as hell miss these two guys.....RIP Frank and Luciano

  • Great song but Pavarotti never bit off more than he could chew!

  • looks like he did hahah!

  • Старина Фрэнки...-чувак зачётный!! А Мистер Поваротти-вообще-аут!!!! Песня-зачёт обоим!!! Реально получил удовольствие от прослушивания!!

  • Wow, I've never heard Luciano sing in English before!

This sounds great, I just wish it were a bit clearer in quality. =D

  • Then you'd have just half of the song ^^

  • One outstanding service by two very great performers.

  • Two Great Singers there is no doubt about that. But there are many others too, dont forget that. There is no Best, here today, gone tomorrow. If I had the money, I'd be gone tonight ;-).

  • Any idiot knows these were the two best singers of the 20th century...period...

  • let's not forget freddie mercury. amazing singer too. such a shame his hiv became active just when he had started experimenting with opera.

  • @blockra55 Any idiot knows these were the two best singers in all of history.

  • @blockra55 clearly sir you are mistaken lady gaga is the best singer there have and will ever be...sorry i cant say that with a straight face xD

  • @blockra55 sinatra belonged to the 1990's section, also along with pavarotti. he was not acknowledged in 2000-present, because he passed away in 1998. Pavarotti, on the other hand, passed away in 2007, so he is the one acknowledged in the 20th century.

  • @pinedapopi

    20th century = 1901-200

  • @pinedapopi that should be 2000

  • @blockra55 What about Freddie Mercury?

  • @blockra55 i agree

  • @blockra55 agree

  • @blockra55 you're wrong. They are among the betters, yes. you can say some are better, while there were so many great artists... Louis Armstrong, Amália Rodrigues, Beetles, and many others that i haven't still heard...

  • @blockra55 What about Mercury?

  • @betolala What about him? What he has to do with this video?

  • @blockra55 hey, you forget elvis presley

  • vergogna it is the most beautiful sogn, played but the greatest theachers of choir.

  • una cancion a la humanidad hermanos

  • LA EXCELENCIA...

  • I really do like both of them its been awhile.. Excellent!!. Fantastic duo.

  • Fantastic! Mr. Sinatra's timing and phrasing is,as always, impeccable; Sr. Pavarotti's voice absolutely divine. I like the sentiments of the lyrics which suggest mistakes regretted, obstacles overcome and I suppose when looking back, most of us would say 'I did it My Way'.

  • what's the name of that song with this rythm(i hope you'll uderstand):tana...nananana.........nanana.....nananana........na..na..na..na..na..na...nana....nana...nanana
