Why? Prater had to redshirt this year because he was hurt, so now he has 4 years of eligibility left to go to 3 bowl games and that's if USC's appeal doesn't go through. If it does the ban gets reduced and he will not have missed anything because he had would've had to redshirt anyways.

That's interesting considering the fact Prater dominated the camp circuits in Florida and at the US Army All-American game against the top recruits from both states. To think he routinely outplayed guys like Matt Elam, Christian Green, Jaylen Watkins, and Lamarcus Joyner some of the best defensive backs in Florida and yet he wouldn't "wreck" playing high school football in that state. Makes you thinks...

Yeah go Illinois! good to know how unbelievable even our home state athletes are that even when seeing that illinois is a good program he would rather go be a fourth string wideout at a mockery of a program in USC exactly why college football is a piece of shit and while the small program has no chance at winning because of the BCS bullshit the strong programs like texas, usc and others just keep getting money and players i hope they sanction USC for the whole Bush saga thing.

He never decommitted, instead of enrolling early, he took a step back because he was shocked and disappointed by the news of Carroll's departure, but there was a "decommittment". Prater was simply waiting it out to see what happened with the coaching position. And either way Michigan was never truly in the running with him, he never even took an official visit to Ann Arbor. If he wasn't going to SC it would've been between Tennessee, ND, OU, and Florida.

You're wrong bud. The incidents spanned over three years. Two of those were under Shula's reign and one under Saban's.

It already is effecting your recruiting. Derrick Thomas's son Derrion was an Alabama lean until this latest incident. Believe it or not, when the NCAA tells Bama they're getting the death sentence if they commit one more fuck up of even the most minor nature and they're done, recruits with aspirations of playing in big time college football games listen. I think Notre Dame's days of living off of what they were instead of what they are have just about come to an end. I'll be surprised if he goes to ND. I'd lay my money on him either going to USC, Oklahoma, or Missouri. Those are the top programs that offered him. Bama had a nice season but they're already in hot water with the NCAA again. I don't have a problem with Notre Dame but let's be real here. They haven't exactly been wowing people lately and kids go for what's hot NOW.

Well I can tell ya this, Im not one of those unreasonable ND fans. I am very aware of what has been going on the past few seasons. But I can tell you that the Irish are very improved and they will be a team that will compete in the next few years.
