sr. kovac, gracias por su musica , soy aprendiz de arpa y siempre sus versiones son de tomarse en cuenta un abrazo desde el desierto Mexicano, si algun dia viene la pasara muy bien.
Hold on -- isn't "Lord of the Dance" a completely different tune with completely different words, and in minor key? My Sunday School class/children's choir learned that long ago (thanks, Mrs. Rudolph, wherever you are).
Nevertheless, I love your superb control on the instrument: disciplined yet expressive.
I see that there are several YouTube videos in which "Simple Gifts" (tune) is set to the words I know, so you're not wrong! :) But that means someone set the same words to a different tune, which as you know is far from uncommon in folk music. Had I a video camera, I'd record myself on harp/voice doing the tune that Mrs. Rudolph taught us.
I love this song! Well, both of them. We used to sing Lord of the Dance in church, and I always sang Simple Gifts to my son. Thanks so much for choosing these songs!
I just found your channel and videos yesterday. I am subscribing! I like your style of playing.
I play a Lyon and Healy Prelude and am going to buy a lap harp soon for a trip I'm taking to Brazil. I'll get a pedal harp in the next few years. I LOVE playing the harp.

yes, Paraguayan style harps have much lower tension than 'conventional' harps
