Totally awesome! I've shot firecrackers from a slingshot before, with a friend lighting them, never thought to put the lighter attached to the sling shot. I also didn't shoot a firecracker that big, haha! Nice explosion from that thing.

Just seeing this a year later... I would not trust any cheap fuse so much that I would have it next to my face even if only for a second or two. :) Now the cannon from this last year on a tripod shooting fire crackers with me away from the fuse, ... Im very sure I'm not the only one to point this out, but after you fire your slingshots, you have that sideways stance where you ... study your damage, rather... and it just gives you this very badass posture and expression... Shooting firecrackers with a slingshot could be hazardous ,...... did it as a teen , .....the cigarette-lit fuse burnt down much too fast and the small "China Cracker" went off in my pull hand . The thick leather pouch made of an old football got torn apart and I was in severe pain the entire New Years Eve , having my hand paralised for hours . Not an enjoyable New Year at all !

No cover needed, the slingshot is safe. The ball shoots a good inch over the hand. But the low fork allows you to handle very strong bands, very ergonomic.
