  • I love very early morning flights...so relaxing. 6-7 in the morning is great for me!

  • takeoff is at 4;00

  • McDonnell Douglas MD-82 is my favorite aircraft.

  • these airplanes have a major design flaw, the jack screw goes and then diasaster strikes in mid air eventually, just seen it on air crash investigation, good on him for reporting them to whoever.

  • @guitarplayerforu not if you lubricate them regularly

  • nice take off

  • there she goes, the md-82

  • I'm doing this flight tomorrow on my way to Mexico!

  • Why did the pilot keep running the engines up then down during taxi?

  • @rafalweb that way he keeps his ground speed up and doesn't stop on the taxiway.

  • I find it funny how all you noobs talk about MD'S and engines as if you were real pilots LOL!

  • i wouldnt choose your place to sit at, if a bird hits that engine something tells me that the shrapnels gonna fly right into the window and pucture it and the person sitting next to it.

  • If I'm not mistaken, ALL AA's MD-82/83's have the uprated -219 engines, so they can all be intermixed; however, if the -83's are generally used on longer routes such as DFW - SEA, DFW - PDX, DFW - LGA, etc... where fuel and payload is a factor.

  • Sounds the same to me.

  • man ive never noticed that the MD-80 sounds different than the MD-88

  • I love the sound of the engines on these aircraft!

  • s-80 and md-80 are exactly the same but aa nicknames them s-80 which stands for "super 80"

  • super 80 and md 80 are the same but this is an 82

  • How do you tell the difference? between an 80 amd an 82? I mean I dont see obvious differences...

  • @airplanecrazy1989 you can tell just by the length and also someone commented b4 sayin that aa only have md82s

  • 5:03

  • Nice vid dude! Just love the Sound of the Mcdonnel Douglas MD82, but it is to high!

    5*

  • I've always liked McDonnell Douglas. I'm going to miss them when their planes are all finally retired :(

  • @unclecoolie me 2!

  • Runway 24R. At, about, 6 minutes, you flew over my sister's house.

  • It's always a pleasure flying with MD80-82.

  • I find the ex-TWA MD-83s more comfortable than American's MD-82s.

  • cool

  • I got the same seat when i went on an md80.

  • long taxing to runway but very smooth takeoff at the end.

  • i love this airplane!!! but take-offs just scary me!!

  • awesome vid m8
