  • I was sooooooo fucking tired. Then I listened to this, feel like I've been hibernating for a month and I just woke up ready to KICK SOME ASS!!!!!

  • There is not ONE bad song on the "Back For The Attack" album.

  • DOKKEN KICKS SERIOUS ASS!!!!

  • I want 80's metal for my generation!! LONG LIVE 80'S METAL!!!!

  • @dweiner2 DUDE!!!! 80'S METAL RULES!!!!!

  • @1962drob YYYEEEAAA MAN!!!!!! 80's metal forever!!

  • 0 dislikes. Need I say more?

  • don dokken is a joke. lynch and the other bandmates made this band

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

    KEEP ON ROKKEN WITH DOKKEN!!!!

  • Lynch is overrated.

Don Dokken's melodic voice in contrast with the heavier writing is what made this band. You can hear 1,000 bands with genius guitarists. What you can't find every day is a vocalist with Don's melodic sensibilities standing counterpoint to said guitarist.

  • Is George ever NOT in beast mode?

  • Good stuff!

  • LONG LIVE DOKKEN!!!

  • @TheMasterDokken Wow, I got called a fag by a 21 year old Canadian girl. I feel honored. But that's besides the point. Here's the point though...I was listening to Dokken before you were even born. Actually started when this particualr album came out. And what I said earlier was accurate. Before 1987 there was only a few thrash metal bands out, so hair metal was still very popular. Dokken was my fave at the time, but I moved on once thrash metal became big post 1987.

  • @ThrashTillDeath73 That's Funny!

  • @TheMasterDokken Oh, that's nice. Love these one word responses...just so much context, I don't even know how to reply..

  • @ThrashTillDeath73 smart ass! u so crazy!

  • Man!! I was about 12 with this song playing on my walkman while riding my bmx bike with my friends like we were some kind of harley motorcycle gang. hahahahaa... I miss those days!!

  • Goerge Lynch used Marshall Plexi Amps with A Boss 7 band EQ & a Ibaneze TS808 Tube Screamer for his tone!!! and a Seymour Duncan Distortion Humbucker in the bridge! delay was a Korg and Boss and.....? ....the best stuff for delay I have ever heard!!!!!!!!

  • @bgibson70 How do you know all the material he used ?

  • Dokken was my favorite group before I got into the heavier stuff like Metallica, Megadeth, Overkill, Testament, Slayer, and Exodus.

  • @ThrashTillDeath73 You forgot the heavy for the thrash ?! WOW... Never seen that ! lol. Don't let the heavy falls !

  • i can remember when i got this album, before i probably even paid this song much attention, way before i knew the lyrics, i fell asleep with this CD playing. i had a dream i was at a dokken concert and the band was playing this song and singing all the lyrics, and they were the correct lyrics. i can only presume this song started playing for real and the words came into my dream somehow. best dokken concert ever btw.

  • geos tone man, dayum.

  • He did Rule, for soe reason he isn't as good as he used to be, ever since he starting lifting he must of forgot alot or something, but he can stil play thank good.

  • Well some are cool! and trying to hold with tradition, All That Remains, BVB, KillSwitch Engage, FFDP, A7X to name a few! but still hats off to the Dok and Boys!

  • George Lynch Rocks On Guitar!!!

    DOKKEN RULES!!!

  • @TheMasterDokken You are sooo right, man!! I couldn't have said it better if I tried. Today's "So-Called" artists are an embarresment to Rock. Bands like Dokken, Cinderella, Ratt, Skid Row, AC/DC, Poison, KISS, Metallica, and many more represent ROCK THAT KICKS ASS!!!

  • I wish I could give Don his 1988 voice back!!!

  • Rumors are rampant that Don and George, and maybe Mick and Jeff, are getting back together for an album and tour. Don and George were together on "That Metal Show" without getting in a fight. That was a good sign. But, I'll believe it when I see it.

  • @sheephider82 George said that it's not going to happen anytime in the near future. He apologized to the fans and Eddie Trunk on his website; Don is the one holding everything up. On a side note, I got to see Lynch Mob a week ago and the new Lynch Mob disc will have Jeff Pilson, Mick Brown, Oni Logan, and George so that'll be sweet.

  • my favorite Lynch solo as well

  • A kick-ass song, but it sounds like nothing like the song by the same title that George recorded with his pre-Dokken band Xciter.

  • Sleepless Nights and Night by Night are quite possibly Georges best solos.

In my Dreams solo was also badass by no stretch of the imagination.

  • Dokken was awesome because Don wasn't writing the riffs...

  • @BrianMorrison71

Don actually did write many of the riffs. He's a guitarist himself.

Have a listen to Don's solo record, 'Up From the Ashes'. Sounds much more like Dokken than Lynch Mob's first album does.

  • @xRazorFistx Dude! I know Don is a guittrist, but Lynch did all the shredding for the band!

  • YEAH 1985 NMB HIGH NMB/MIAMI and I saw DoKKen round that time...G/Lynch rules!

  • My favorite Dokken song!! Rock on, mothaf----sssss!!

  • I got this on cassette, had it since '87/'88.

  • Best Dokken song made.

  • F%@#Kin' A!~ STILL THE GOLD STANDARD!!! Get Lynched!!!!!

  • It pisses me off that when people think of the 80s they think of Flock of Seagulls or Billy Ocean and not bands like this!

  • @ccvibes Haha my bad didn't mean to give you thumbs down. I meant to give you thumbs up but clicked the wrong button. And that stuff sucks. Who cares how far you ran: Mr. I have a crazy hair do. In my opinion Forrest Gump made that highly more amusing than him.

  • @ccvibes The only people who think like that were fags back then ~ and are still FAGS!

  • I still have some old dokken cassettes. Back for the attack is one of my favorites though.

  • How fitting lol

  • this tune is cool long live dokken and the class of 1985

  • Yea man!!!

    Back for the attack!!!

    Lynch Rules

  • RIFF O RAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome!

  • the intro to this song rocks.

  • ah hell yeah!...rock on dude! dokken rocks forever!....and this song rocks.

  • What a riff!

  • one of my favorite Dokken songs. no one ever married song and solo as well as George Lynch. his solos make the most sense for the song, if you get my meaning. thanks for sharing.

  • Amazing song and one of the best Metal guitar works and solo ever! That's music not shred! I'm very happy to see George Lynch live this year in Switzerland at Z7

  • Lynch is freaking awesome.

By the way, the lyrics are, "Stay in bed until day becomes NIGHT."

    Just trying to help.

  • haha

BRING BACK DOKKEN FOR MY GENERATION !!!!!!!

  • @spurkayy I WOULD SO LOVE TO BRING DOKKEN BACK FOR YOUR GENERATION!!! THAT SHOWS THAT YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY DO HAVE GOOD TASTE IN REAL MUSIC!!!

    ROCK ON MAN!!!

  • Back for the Attack was a GREAT album. Saw them on that tour ...open for AC/DC in Germany. My favorite DOKKEN disc.

  • I'll never find a bad song from dokken ^^

ok ok you won you are the best !

  • That is true, Dokken never put out a bad song. Incredible. Dokken Rulez!

  • dokken fucking rocks

  • Lynch rules!!!!
