Panic! At the Disco's version is much better and they differ it everytime they play it. This version is very middle of the road, trying to be rock. I highly recommend Panic!'s version at Abbey Road, and the Aol session.

If you actually wanted to listen to earlier weezer then "say it aint so", "the sweater song", and "buddy holly" are good starts

Though they aren't Levon, Rick, and Richard, I think this cover is a good version compared to others I've heard. And in this day and age, I think it still can sound attractive to a young generation while still being respectful to the classic version.
