Clint Howard IS Ron Howards brother. Clint appeared a couple of times as Benji in the Andy Griffith Show and also in one episode of the Classic Batman show and even in an episode of Star Trek, 'The Corbonite Maneuver'.

This was the first time anyone had seen those fan boats.. Also they never did air the final episode where the bear goes ballistic and kills the kid and his father. Pretty nasty stuff!

I used to love this show. Got the Gentle Ben game for Christmas in 1967. I opened it up and couldn't wait to play. Only problem was that the factory had screwed up and there were only pieces for the Barbie game in the box. : (

Many children were eaten after parents brought home Black and Grizzly bears for them to play with..I'm not making it up either.

They repeated this in the UK during the 1980s; for me and my friends Ben was defo the king of domesticated wild animals involved in morality tales and the prevention of petty crime. That Dolphin asswipe Flipper just didn't cut it!
