Hey James, in case you haven't noticed, you have 666 subscribers! I realized that because I was an watching Eric Bana interview and I thought his accent was identical to yours as far as regional Aussie accents, so I was checking to see if you live near where he is from... :)
lol, yes, I took a screen capture as soon as I realised I was on 666 subs :D. Very apt, in a way :D. As for accents, I got mine living in Tasmania, Bana is from Victoria I think. To tell the truth, there isn't much of a regional difference between the Australian accents. No like American accents at least. Slight differences though, of coarse. People sometimes have more of a 'twang', but that's a bout it. :D

Hey there :D. Yes, Raw Meat is a very interesting film. Same concept as Creep, though Creep is a lot more bloody and action packed. I personally preferred the slow-boil atmosphere of Raw Meat though.
Oh boy, I'd love to get this edition of Invasion. It's def. my favorite adaption too and one of the best Horror films of the 70s. There are so many subtle things in the direction and I only noticed them when they talked about it in the commentary. I still don't have the Don Siegel version on DVD.
Raw Meat was a kind of a let down for me. Just a bit slow at times, but great atomsphere. I was hoping for a bit more carnage it it though.
Got Demon Seed mmonths ago too, but haven't checked it out yet. Now as you actually compare it to my favorite Cronenberg movie, I guess I should really give it a go.
Great cover on The Changeling. I like that film a lot. George C. Scott is a really likeable guy in that one.

Hey man. Saw circumstance for me with Demon Seed - saw it years ago, and looking forward to the re-watch now I own it. Yeah, the 78 version of Body Snatchers just felt more well done to me. I didn't mind the 90s version by Ferrera, but the latest 2007 (I think) one had nothing new to offer but a predictable Hollywood ending *sigh*

Hey man :D. Invasion is great and couldn't resist the two discer. Raw Meat I quite enjoyed for its slower pace. Very measured. Pleasance was great in it yeah - he's such a diverse actor. Demon Seed I'd recommend watching when you get the chance - pretty strange and f*cked up.
That's my favourite Invasion as well. Oh, the Changeling is great. Is yours barebones. At least you don't have a snap case like the R1 release. Haha. Great video.

Just got back from seeing it. It's nearly 1 am here. It was pretty good. It had some nice detailed kills, like when they shoot John Dillinger in the back of the head and it goes out the other side. It's pretty awesome, but was a bit long(not longer than Harry Potter, LOL!).

Don't know why I turned into a pirate, but anyway - yes, 78 version of Invasion is the sh*t! Loved it, and I think its the most memorable of all the adaptations. Demon Seed is really bizarre, but also very intelligent. Great psychological horror. The Changeling got things right with it's approach to the supernatural - wonderful film, and like you said, Scott was excellent in it. Night of the Comet I had a great time watching - great feel-good stuff. Thanks Andre :D
Awesome update. Night of the Comet is one of my all time favorites. I fucking love that movie. Great story and a really good 80s soundtrack. You really can't get anymore 80s than Night of the Comet. I could watch that a million times and not get tired of it. 5 stars.

Totally in agreement about 1978 version of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, the fifties original is great as well but I hated the early '90's one.

Hey man :D. Invasion is great and couldn't resist the two discer. Raw Meat I quite enjoyed for its slower pace. Very measured. Pleasance was great in it yeah - he's such a diverse actor. Demon Seed I'd recommend watching when you get the chance - pretty strange and f*cked up.

That's my favourite Invasion as well. Oh, the Changeling is great. Is yours barebones. At least you don't have a snap case like the R1 release. Haha. Great video.

Got to Love Invasion Of The Body Snatchers..I have to see Raw Meat Donald is a god IMO may he R.I.P.
I love Videodrome so i will have to see Demon Seed.Always love a good Ghost story so i will try to see The Changeling...Night Of The Comet i have not seen for a long time a very long time...Your knowledge on horror films is outstanding keep the awesome vids coming

Hey Ryan - thanks man for the kind words on the ROT intro - knocked that up in about half an hour :D. Raw meat was very good, surprisingly so. I was expecting a good film, but it was definitely above par, a lot more sophisticated than I expected. Demon Seed is great and worth seeking out, as is The Changeling. Hey Matt, cheers man :D. Don't know if it will become a staple of the intro, but it will pop-up every now and again. The Changeling is a pretty slow film when you compare it to alot of horror films, but its extremely well done. I think you'd like it. No Camera for a week? Gah - that sucks bud. What happened to it?

Hey man. I know that feeling - I sometimes totally forget films I want to get, then after I make my purchases I remember. Raw Meat is worth getting though - great film, needs more people to see it. Demon Seed is great, and the Changeling is a refreshingly good haunted house flick. Night of the Comet is so very entertaining. White Buffalo is seriously a minor masterpiece - you dawn good! Invasion of the Body Snatchers is fantastic. When I was a little kid and first saw it I spent some time that night lying in bed tripping on the man-dog. lol Freaked me right out! Demon Seed is incredible! I can't say enough good things about that movie. Changeling! Another great choice there! Night of the Comet is a classic. :) Good times there. WHITE BUFFALO! Yeah baby. That's the goods right there! Will be in touch shortly. lol Can't wait to see all the promised updates!

Hey man. Indeed, Invasion of the Body Snatchers is excellent. Yess! The scene with the dog - so memorable. Demon Seed has a really cool premise, very interesting film. Thanks man for mentioned White Buffalo - might have passed it up if it wasn't for you mentioning it. That said though, I still think the cover art would have got me :D. Incredible film! My god - the scenes of the 'white spike' going apeshit! Thrilling stuff! Cheers man.

Just got back from seeing it. It's nearly 1 am here. It was pretty good. It had some nice detailed kills, like when they shoot John Dillinger in the back of the head and it goes out the other side. It's pretty awesome, but was a bit long(not longer than Harry Potter, LOL!).

Definatley agree that the 78' version of Body Snatchers was the best, I love Kevin McCarthy's cameo. I've heard a lot about The White Buffalo never seen it tho, sounds amazing. Great update.

Bodysnatchers 78 is the best version! Demon Seed sounds great. The Changeling is a great film its george c scott's performance is absolutely riveting. Night of the Comet is one of my all time fav 80's Sci-Fi/horror/Adventure/Fantasy films. Great update James!!

Don't know why I turned into a pirate, but anyway - yes, 78 version of Invasion is the sh*t! Loved it, and I think its the most memorable of all the adaptations. Demon Seed is really bizarre, but also very intelligent. Great psychological horror. The Changeling got things right with it's approach to the supernatural - wonderful film, and like you said, Scott was excellent in it. Night of the Comet I had a great time watching - great feel-good stuff. Thanks Andre :D

Awesome update. Night of the Comet is one of my all time favorites. I fucking love that movie. Great story and a really good 80s soundtrack. You really can't get anymore 80s than Night of the Comet. I could watch that a million times and not get tired of it. 5 stars.
