I love Bernie Marsden! Great and nice guy! Great blues phrasing in Whitesnake solos which never have been accomplished by Sykes, Galley, Vai, Vandenberg, Beach or Aldrich. Take one of their solos and place it into other songs. Bernie surfed with his solos on top of the music. No senseless typewriting solos. It's all about bluesy phrasing and making music. Bernie is the man!
Great song. I have this recording somewhere, from the Friday Rock Show. Never realised it was released officially. Although SOS was the band which morphed into Alaska, I think this recording contains Rob Hawthorne, the Alaska singer, rather than the original SOS singer, Tommy Jackson.
I have this on a casette redorded from the tommy vance broadcast-the quality is really bad but it was a great performance!

Bernie served 4 excellent years with Whitesnake. This is another example of his immense skills as a blues rock axeman.

I think this is from Reading '82. We were there, and enjoyed the SOS set.
