  • why do i see so many uploads on the same cameras with the same lenses and they all look different. Is it the settings or something?

  • Dude, why not 1080p??

  • Good video is this raw footage? How did you get that film look I would apprrvite a reply

  • I know it's only a tester video (which really helped alot, by the way, thanks!) But that is a really good video, it's really cool(: Loved it! ;D

  • How did you enhance the color? Thanks!

  • Canon 500d or pay more and get the Canon 550d - what do people think?

  • Really awesome

  • Any place a person can download raw footage from various cams?

  • it makes me wanna buy it right now.

  • what was the lens ?

  • @okalkushmando The standard 50mm

  • can you zoom when you're filming? sorry for this stupid question ;D

  • @3Vaniglia3 Yes you can?(:

  • hi, can i ask you in wich format and setting you rendered the vid to get the black stripes on the vid?

  • i like your video so mach .. and i want to know what effect and editing programs do you use Thanks .

  • Mmm thank you for a this film. In the text week I'm buying this camera. ;D

  • wowsers...look at the quality! what lens did you use for this vid?

  • can anyone tell me that you manually focus?

  • I like the music.

  • What's your lens type ?

  • Canon EF 50mm 1.8

  • eos 500 d is very good in video eos 500d=eos 7d :)

  • Great movie PR, 500D holds it's own well - I love Magic Bullet Looks. If you're using FCP7 (on an Intel machine) go with ProRes444 LT, it's the business.

  • I've tryed this setting but I still get the ''unrendered'' screen. I also have a 500d and try to edit FCP7 but my canvas keeps telling me ''unrendered''. I can't find the right setting for the camera. Can someone tell me the right setting?

    Thanks,

  • wow this is amazing what kind of lense did you use?

  • how did you get your video into 21:9?

  • I can't get my footage to look like yours!! (not color wise) just the HD quality.

  • Buy a better lens. The kitlens is not producing good quality pictures. Go to your local Canon store and ask for a tryout.

  • alright first of all I haven't even used the kit lens, and I don't own it, I have a canon 28-135mm and 35mm prime and 10-22mm. The video quality doesn't come out the same. There are no "local canon stores" or photo stores near me becides a best buy and they don't sell good lenses. I get all my stuff from B&H.

  • oh sorry then. have you looked into proper video editing?

  • yes I edit in final cut express HD, can't afford studio, and I export in 1280x720 idk check out my t1i test vid and tell me what I'm doing wrong

  • nice vid...how do u focus on something. are u using auto focus or manual..

  • hi

loved your video...what is the lense you used????

  • HI!

    I loved your video!

    It's a test, yeah, but it's awesome.

One question: If I buy a Canon 500D, could I edit directly in Final Cut or I need to convert or something? Because I work with this shitty SONY DSC-SR40, and is giving me some trouble.

I'll would love hearing from you!

    Tks a lot!

    cya.

  • You have to convert the h264 files into an editable format, like DVCPRO HD or XDCAM HD!

  • this is amazing!! what software do you use for conversion, and why do you use magic bullet instead of color?

  • @ParanoiaRecords How do you convert them? I have a Canon 500D too.. Can you please and I mean please show me exactly how to shoot footage in 720p, take footage from the 500d, convert it to DVCPRO HD or XDCAM HD, and import it in Final Cut Pro ? THANKS IN ADVANCE

  • @matguzzo So glad I returned that Sony SR40 and got a Canon Vixia. Low light performance on the sony produced too much grain.

  • Nice Vid man!

I hope u can help me with something.

I also have a 500d. When i shot a video, i import the h.264 footage into Premiere Pro, and edit it. Is this the best way? Is h.264 the best quality, or do i have to convert it to avi/QT etc, before editing? I just want to know what settings to use for a nice DVD quality..

Hope u can help me, thanks alot!

  • You have to convert the h264 files into an editable format, like DVCPRO HD or XDCAM HD (etc..).
