  • i wanted so much play like you U_U you both are wonderful!!!

i'm so sad cause i can't play like that" would give everything for a class ^^

    congradulations

  • I'm not even working on this yet! I'm fourteen to boot!

  • ...and i'm learning this when i'm 14. That was really good!

  • you should play violin, you play violin better then piano

  • Beautifully played!!! Awesome!!!!!

  • @samuelngkee wow, your really not smart dude, get the music sheet and see for yourself

  • @jacky25511 yes i did, in fact, i don't see anything that says DON'T PLAY SLOW, PLAY REALLY FAST, dummy

  • @jacky25511 well aren't you a hater? >.< anyone that age that can playt piano like that shouldn't be frowned upon. Nitwit.

  • read the sheet music DUMBO, wrong rhythm

  • this is really good for a ten year old young lady..... hope to hear her in the big concerthalls in a few years......

  • WOW i did not now that Valerie kim plays list and so good and she plays beautifuly and she is beautiful her self

  • I'm with you MeghKrystyne about Umi. I have

become a big, big fan of UMI. Valarie has promise, but Umi soars as demonstrated in the Beethoven trio on Youtube, and ends it with her award winning smile.

  • gr8!!! a talented child, but perhaps she needs to build on her technique a bit more to play this perfectly...

  • i gave up learning this halfway. not a simple piece to learn

  • brava! amazing :) Totally inspiring to learn this piece... it's so refreshing to hear someone play who isn't convinced the only way to play liszt is with lightning speed and a mechanical approach... it's nice to see someone bring out all the harmonies and melody clearly :) Well done!!

  • i think umi garrett plays this with more emotion, but this girl is really awesome too.

  • shes good, i just cant imagine how much her parents had to pressure her to play, cuz its hard for most kids to concentrate, but she is still so good, maybe in 5 years when her hands will get bigger she will do an even better job

  • Lol somekids love to play by their own and she look enjoying classical music.

  • According to her father, she isn't pressured to play, and she has a life away from music.

That's evident in her performance. She isn't like the many parent-pressured child-machines who have grim faces, dazzling technique and zero interpretation skills. Valerie and her sister Dominique are excellent performers who obviously enjoy what they're doing.

  • @artygunnar dominique looks like she was pressured to learn some of her songs, valerie seems to genuinely enjoy it

  • No, mate, you're wrong. You know, I'm psychologist, I'm working with girls like she, and I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. If she could wait and play only 4 years later, it would be not so bad then. fell in love? maybe. like Ariel... ;-)

  • BRAAAAAAVO!!!!

  • Lol, maybe you are just jealous you were never given this opportunity when you were younger. I know for a fact that these girls do not simply play their instruments just because their parents made them; they play these instruments because they fell in love with them.

  • I am not so sure - some probably, but not all. Good performance though!

  • And I´m not proud of you, man.

  • A ten year old playing Liszt like this?!? Wow.

    Pitiiing!!!!!!!!!!

  • The daughter of Cziffra!!!!!!!!!!

  • OHMYGOODNESSSSSS~!

    Valerieee~

I'm not sure if you remember me, but this is Christina from the new praise concert last november. Aw, I didn't know you played piano too. You're so good~~~ : )

  • Hello, Christina. Dominique here. Yeah, Valerie started the piano before she learned violin. She's just as good on both. She's my regular accompanist for my flute performances. Did you see the main video on this channel (my dad's)?

  • I love your "Gnomenreigen"! It's so beautifully played. Bravo!

  • it seems so jumpy! i just LOOOOOVE it!

  • it's not bad for a 10-year-old. Check out how Cziffera plays Gnomenreigen. It needs to be faster and more dynamic. The tempo needs to be more consistent (the last section was extremely slow) and don't lose the melody.

  • Bravo, Valerie!

  • You stagger me Valerie. That was brilliant.

    In tune

    Lalita

  • absolutely FANTASTIC

  • It really does sound like the ''Dance of the Gnomes''! Wonderfully played, sounds like a bunch of little gnomes dancing around a fire, causing mischief!

  • Wow! You've improved a lot!

  • Very beautifully played - excellent work!

  • Beautiful job!

  • Once again an astonishing performance Valerie. You two girls are absolutely amazing.

    In tune

    Lalita

  • amazing for 10 year old. Congratulation!!!!!!!!!!!

  • valerie, you're absolutely amazing! it would be wonderful if i can hear you play la campanella by liszt sometime! i'm your #1 fan!

  • MARAVILLOSA EJECUCION, Valeria es una verdadera artista de la musica, la Admiro mucho.
