What people don't realize is that Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash are really the same person; a Mr. George Blevin of Sandusky, Ohio. Due to his increasing age Blevin had to kill off the Johnny Cash character so he could really focus on Willie.
God must have gotten tired of Howard Cosell calling games for him so he called up Dandy Don to bring hs great sense of humor to help call the games. RIP Dandy Don.
Rest in Peace, Dandy Don. You should never have worried about if you'd be remembered. I still remember seeing that 17 slip through the field at SMU... made my day every time...even the practice games at Owenby Field. Rest in Peace.
this is ironic that a willie nelson song was added by some one called "Solja boi" other than the fact they prob both smoke the gonja i see no similarities
Meredith made Monday Night Football enjoyable. It was a different time, back when such displays of Americana were a real event. Nobody looks forward to MNF like it was back then. Everyone got a chuckle when Cosell's methodical posturing was upstaged by Dandy Don's lighthearted approach.
@diamonddave247: And you know in the broadcast booth, right now, Dan's giving Howard about 15 years worth of witticisms and snappy comebacks. (Cosell died in 1995)
This was at one time; a tune that took the radio station off the air; back b4 the radio station expanded to more than one station.. B4 the radio station stayed on the air for 24/7... Now; it's 24/7 radio all over the southeast Ohio area...
i work out of town a lot. i play this song before i leave off from my girlfriend and friends.

About 18 years ago, while I was celebrating my 29th birthday
(or so I thought!) my wife walked in with a plate and made this
comment: “ You’re not 29, you’re 30!”
At first I laughed at her, than I argued with her, than I looked at my
Birth Certificate! Being sad doesn’t cover what I felt that moment!
I just somehow lost one year of my life! So, I decided to play this song!
As soon the song started, everyone decided to leave in a hurry!
I will never forget that Birthday Party!
