A home is a familiy sancuary. It can never be replaced. Neighbors, friends, smell of foods and security. Mom and Dad. We all have them. Memories of yesterday within each and every one of us. Who would dare to terrorize this sancuary? Now I see terrorism.
This is not about homelessness in the ordinary way. This is about these guys loosing their homeland, Vaterland or whatever place they grew up. Friends, neighbours all gone, dead, fled, not there anymore. No place to return to. Huge numbers of people have been displaced due to the aftermath of the US invasion in Iraq.
Fuck the homeless. Fucking vermin that hang around like a stink in the air. The only way I would ever give them a dime is if they promised to kill themselves and do the world a favor.
I have never believed in killing and destroying as a way to attain peace. War is a rich mans toy . Where is the peace, anywhere ???? war makes people dead or rich, not peace. Sorry you lost your country. Places change for all of us, the best I can do is tell you that time changes every place, for all of us. Keep your home in your heart and always be proud of what you had, childhood memories are the best for all of us.
i gotta live outside.2 months inside and haircut, church, shave,aa meetings didnt do shit for me.see you tomorrow morning on streets of portland.and i will be very friendly
@algattust He is basically a terrorist. Mr. Bush ran this country right into the ground. He should have been impeached before he even got a chance to run for president.
Deep inside, most Americans know why people are homeless. And the truth is that most Americans are just a pay check away from homelessness themselves but they would rather deny it, which may TEMPORALLY make them feel better about themselves. It seems denial is better than cure but in the end, every one seems to fall to the same ditch.
Its cos my parents immagrated when I was young. Lots of second generation immagrints feel like that, but it must be even worse when you loose a country to war. Peace and best wishes to you guys... from england.
After working hard for over 25 years and built a decent life for my self and my family, because of and due to the last 10 years of persistent epileptic seizures, I lost my job, my health insurance, my car, my driving license, my wife, my home and everything I ever worked hard for and saved all my life for to become destitute homeless.
hi sharon, according to their video letter to ppl of the world, they already have enough resistance army, but what they require and want is constant peacful move arround the world to stop the war.
...because of you bush (lol he does have a bush stuck in his head) you are stealing 1000000 gallons of oil from iraq YOU you robber fuck you bush head( lol feels good to get that out of my chest)
i come from Babylon its in iraq lol anyway if we keep on fighting for the country that made the 1st science 1st law 1st math 1sh writing for the country that invented the wheel (im talking about iraq)we will win the war and the friken bush and any other presisant who wants to fight with iraq may god banish you from this realm its...
keep fighting nd i promise u will see the beutiful baghdad. I feel ur pain nd as much as being a man tears came down my eyes when i finished watching this video.
oh my god you have said what all iraqis feel now who live abroad and in because who live inside Iraq feel homeless even more than we do great job guys
he gonger and khourshid how are you guys...nice videio, keep up the good work,i know we are homeles but when i remember the past years ,how we used to live in our homes and the life that we had in collage ,i feel happey ...
The naive and foolish will never understand what Iraq was, a country of awe and prestige in which once illuminated the world! Babylon you were once known as the capital of enlightenment, and now all that is left of your praised palaces is ruins and ash.God forgive us all for never following your example of love for one another.
I have learnt that my home is not the place, it is the people in which i hold in my heart... may you one day find that also.
I am so very very sorry. My heart is breaking for all of us--those of us who have killed something of our soul here in the US by allowing some madmen in Washington to kill and maim and loot an entire people and culture.
Hold that image of your "real home" -- impossible to say how or when or why, but it is an image that you will need. Perhaps the entire world needs. It is not dead as long as it is alive in your hearts.
Peace and love to you people. I care. Lots of people care. I know kind of how you feel. I dont have a home place either. But at least my home place wasnt destroyed by war and death on a massive scale.
homeless in a mad world! That's not pain anymore. It's living hell. It's being in continuous agony. Where do you draw your strength and your hope from? Thank you for sharing your feelings... I will always remember!
it's been five years since the war stopped , and we were all in a state of denial , we didn't really want to believe that we are HOMELESS , no matter where we live ,what we dress ,how successful are jobs are , how awesome are our cars ,eventually we are homeless...thank you for letting us realize the truth...nice to see you again.
I just can say that you're two really strong person, and that this really is a very mad,mad world! The song is absolutely beautiful, and all this is just too sad! Maybe one day you'll return in Bagdad, but the sad thing is that it will never be the same country,YOUR country again, deamn!
I m from Serbia,I know what Americans can do! When my country was Bombed,I wasn't there, and I had the feeling that I was powerless, people often think: he wasn't there how could he know, but beeing out of his own country while it's under attack is also a really difficult thing!
Dear Sharon. What I believe we should do is that we create awareness, in America and the whole world, about the incompetence and irresponsibility of the American government and its military ways in solving problems. We should all understand the background of this occupation in order that we can run the next elections properly and put competent people in power. God bless
Yes, Mohamed, but soooo long a process. We can do this, but something sooner for the Iraqi people seems critical. Today I thought maybe to call a Congress of the People....that we should gather somewhere and make some Declarations like the Women and a few good men did in 1848...at the Senaca Falls Convention. I mean it. And, thank you for your blessing...I receive it in humility and will wear it proudly.Sharon
I beg God to find a way to repair what we Americans have done. I wonder if I should stop my regular life as a mother and grandmother and teacher to go to Iraq with a group of other sorrowful US people to sit in Harm's Way in solidarity. Even this is an impossible fantasy...visas, permissions, laws, money. Please keep singing and talking. Sharon Simone USA/CA
Thank you guys for the video clip, it really reflects all Iraqis feelings inside and outside...but dont you think that we have to do something? I know it is hard but let us think seriously who cares more than us about our country?...I believe we need help but still we have to do something..no matter how small it is but at the end of the day these small things will get bigger and bigger....
They speak alarmingly good English. Does this mean that the Iraqi education system was way ahead of the west? Maybe these two men are gifted.
