  • Nice video, are there any flying examples in France? Anyone know of any films featuring this airplane?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for your comment about the video. Unfortunately, I have no answer to none of your questions. Perhaps other youtube users might help you?

  • @canals22 there are now several videos showing these in actual flight in France including at least one that was recently flown in celebration of an aniversery of it's use for air mail flights. Until recently I did not know any had actually survived let alone were in flighing condition.

  • @shatros great stuff... thanks !

  • Shatros,

thanks a lot for your comment. I'm really glad that my video could help you to grab an idea of what a Breguet XIV looked like. Unfortunately, I also "blurred" the images to achieve an old film effect...

However, I think that you can see images of real (not simulated) Breguet XIVs searching Youtube (I think that I found some).

By the way, I DO hope that your grandfather survived WWI...

    Regards,

    Bleriot

  • Thank you so much for posting. My grandfather was a member of the 96th Aero Squadron (USA) and this is very simular to the one they flew (XIV B) in 1918. Thisis the very first time I have seen what one looks like flying. I have only seen a handful of blurry still photographs.

  • A nice vid again. Cool man

  • Thanks a lot again, tiemji.
