you play with nvidia, i too but play crysis with very high graphic and aa 16xQ you must have a 280 gtx . Nvidia s graphic cards have all gddr3 or most of all ati have gddr5 so on gddr5 graphic shooter runs better than on nvidia

How to change DX10 mode to X9?I mean,im playing Crysis all on Medium,and im getting 10-30 fps...on DX10.I heard that i will have allot more FPS if i put it on DX9.Look at you,30-40fps with Dx9,15-20fps with Dx10.lol

I got a 4870x2 and some odd reason I can run dx9 but not dx10 I have dx10 installed.

heh switched from an s-video cable to a dvi to hdmi cable and it works now.

not fully true. With the right card, things can run better in directx10. faster too

I can agree with that, there are some features in dx10 that when utilized are more efficient power wise to previous directx versions of doing the same thing.

I made a hasty generalization that with updated software comes a slowdown without updated hardware.

yeah i noticed that.... cuz before i had a windows XP 32-Bit and i ran on DX9.... and now i have got windows vista 64-Bit. with DX10 and it is running much much better.
