  • @jerlucid Nah i meant composed. It's definately her tune, there is video of her playing it on the most recent Come West Along the Road DVD. Mick flatley's is similar however it is in a different key, this tune is in G whereas Mick Flatleys is in D. Trust me, she's my mum! haha

  • @jerlucid Eh, dude there's no need for the facetious tone, I'm not trying to get one up on you, I'm just correcting an error. If thats the impression you got from my other coments than I'm sorry. Yes it's on The Session, it's just called Catherine McEvoy's, it is also on her first recording which is probably on Google.

  • @Fiddleruairi1987 No offense intended. I'm glad to get a little help in solving this problem. Having found the track and listened to it a few times, your right. I'll remove my first comment to prevent further confusion. By the way have a listen to tanseys version and tell me what you think.

  • @jerlucid Thats alright man, just lost in translation, youtube's a pain for arguments starting from nothing! yeah will do, not sure if we have easter snow, just king of the concert flute and a couple of others but i'll have a look see...

  • @Fiddleruairi1987 I always thought that the title "King of the concert flute" was a big statement to make. Almost as cocky as M.Flatley with his "And then came Flatley" album :)

  • Incroyable ! Michael Flatley sait tout faire !

  • did i just found God?

  • @raducristiandimitrie Nope. Not quite

  • this question may have been asked and answered already but i'll ask it again if it has - does anyone know the names of the two reels?

  • I didn't know Michael Flatley was a flautist! He's good!

  • hahaha Michael looks really dorky!

  • HAHA. Love this. Great flute playing. What make me laugh is the contrast of the two performers.

  • Wonderful. We always loved watching Riverdance on TV.

  • I can't say I'm into Lord of the dance or leather pants but this is a great performance. Nice post

  • he's from St. Denis parish, Brother Rice alum.

  • WONDERFUL!! *****

  • I was going to post the "Irish Tradition : Step Dancing" from my channel as a reply, since I'm sure they came from the same Late Late Show celebrating Micheál Ó Súilleabháin's 'River of Sound' series. Then I saw your note on my clip saying "I''ve got this on tape" - well ""I''ve got this on tape" too ( ;-)) would have posed it too but its about 7 seconds short! :-) Thanks for the post!
