i tried aoc that game sucked horribly. atleast war has got there act together somewhat(although they still have alot of problems). aoc is horribly imbalanced the leveling system is boring and lame as hell. the guild cities are instanced. still some bugs. there is almost NO endgame in aoc. sure there is raiding but its the same raids since day 1 they didn't add anything. the only thing aoc has better than war are the graphics and the combat system and the nudity.
In my opinion AoC is best. It's new thinking, it's different, and a challenge to play compared to other MMO(RPG)'s.

I played Warhammer Online at 4 months. Than i search AoC trial, i found and download 9 hours, after i try play game and i love AoC game. It's very awesome AoC! But i played WoW at 3 years and now i think wow is suck, not fun more. But my brother is continue play WoW but he say AoC is too awesome :D
my opinion is that AOC has the best gameplay of all MMORPG, you know why? cuzz u need to use your brains to master it, in all games it doesnt matter if u have skills, if u have good gear then u own, in AOC its about skills: you need to click on the right buttons to make a good combo move or a finishing move and need to focus on the enemy and so on.

Funcom has changed the game alot with fixed and updates and new content, it's totally another different experience when u play it and also a big project is on the way to make sure all bugs are fixed and give the game improvements + an expansion is coming, and both these 2 things are coming out this year, the project will soon be out i think, maybe on the summer or earlier and the expansion like in the end of this year i'm returning to this game now

I was reading the talk between vindude and Yuilieana or something like that. (sorry for spelling didn't have time to check.) Vin kept going back to them leaving some stuff out and could add more stuff. If you refer to there older game Dark Age of Camelot there is alot of stuff they left out from that game but did add stuff to make it different. Just let me remind you they left things out so they will be able to have expansions. so be ready for more intense stuff coming into WAR!

AoC may be a good game and have a nice combat system but that is all it has. It won't live off those two things and it is showing now. It will soon follow tebula rasa to being shut down. Right now the only thing that needs to be fixed is contribution system for pqs and keeps. Also, lots of the classes need a nice nerf bat upside the head and a global chat would be nice.
I didn't like 'click and clobber' in World of Warcraft. Excellent graphics, too. Too bad they haven't added much end-game content yet, PvP instances are not bad either, but it takes a while on some servers to get a match, due to a lack of population.

I've never done PvP in AoC but i heard people discuss it where you can one shot people - that is called disbalance, but i've heard that's been fixed
The reason why AoC is not as good is not because of PvP but because it's very buggy and it lacks mid upper level PvE content. There is nothing to do for about 10 or 20 levels because there is no area where you can quest at an appropriate level. When i left AoC i was level 40. But i heard they were developing an area for 50+, it was still not enough
Just because they might fix it after some time it won't make the game better right now. War has a lot more content than AoC. In AoC i hit a road block at lvl 40 because i had to grind exp for 10 levels as there was no 40+ area where i could quest. I can stand grinding reputation and honor, like i did in WoW. But killing mobs for 10 levels is too much.
k this is how it is.... i got to lvl 50 in aoc and quit because there was no pvp in it at all but it was a very good game and im not saying it is shit..... i quit and got war so far im lvl 12 and loveing it, non stop pvp thats all it is. so AOC IS FOR PVE AND WAR IS FOR PVP there every1 is happy :D love love... where all gamerz come on lets hug and stop the fighting love love love yay!

LAGGING LIKE HELL??? if you got a decent computer that everyone can afford you wont lag like hell, guild wars,warhammer, lineage 2, WoW all got the best graphs (light effects, trees,... and the model details also) there are on low quality. lagging isnt only because your computer doesnt have the up to date gear but also because your network laggs like shit. if you wanne make an argument be sure you know its a good one.

We were talking about graphics.. not the internet connection... As i said, you can't have Farcry gfxs on a mmorpg, it is just simply too much to handle for a Ordinary PC, you'd lagg too much in raids and sieges and such, so you can't have seen any better graphics than AoC has got in a mmorpg.

I can't belive what i just read, Arguru117 go grow a brain, AOC's graphics aren't crappy. What the fuck are you on about? and yes, the game WAS buggy and it totally ruined it, there is lots of stuff i don't like about aoc, some examples: The crappy animations, the world "pvp" and the bugs that still remain. But there is alot i like about it too! The combat system, the guild cities (should be made more usefull though..) and the shiny sweet gfx and the stories/quests.

Funcom has changed the game alot with fixed and updates and new content, it's totally another different experience when u play it and also a big project is on the way to make sure all bugs are fixed and give the game improvements + an expansion is coming, and both these 2 things are coming out this year, the project will soon be out i think, maybe on the summer or earlier and the expansion like in the end of this year i'm returning to this game now

I was reading the talk between vindude and Yuilieana or something like that. (sorry for spelling didn't have time to check.) Vin kept going back to them leaving some stuff out and could add more stuff. If you refer to there older game Dark Age of Camelot there is alot of stuff they left out from that game but did add stuff to make it different. Just let me remind you they left things out so they will be able to have expansions. so be ready for more intense stuff coming into WAR!

AoC may be a good game and have a nice combat system but that is all it has. It won't live off those two things and it is showing now. It will soon follow tebula rasa to being shut down. Right now the only thing that needs to be fixed is contribution system for pqs and keeps. Also, lots of the classes need a nice nerf bat upside the head and a global chat would be nice.

Great combat system in AoC!
I didn't like 'click and clobber' in World of Warcraft. Excellent graphics, too. Too bad they haven't added much end-game content yet, PvP instances are not bad either, but it takes a while on some servers to get a match, due to a lack of population.
The game has its bugs, but what MMORPG didn't have bugs after launch?
I have played several MMORPGs and AoC is one of the best in my view.

I've never done PvP in AoC but i heard people discuss it where you can one shot people - that is called disbalance, but i've heard that's been fixed
The reason why AoC is not as good is not because of PvP but because it's very buggy and it lacks mid upper level PvE content. There is nothing to do for about 10 or 20 levels because there is no area where you can quest at an appropriate level. When i left AoC i was level 40. But i heard they were developing an area for 50+, it was still not enough

Just because they might fix it after some time it won't make the game better right now. War has a lot more content than AoC. In AoC i hit a road block at lvl 40 because i had to grind exp for 10 levels as there was no 40+ area where i could quest. I can stand grinding reputation and honor, like i did in WoW. But killing mobs for 10 levels is too much.
