why dont you jailbrek it...its fairly easy and if there is a problem you could always restore it...search ipodtouchmaster on youtube he'll help you out

kind of. you can get sites with aim like meebo on safari. then if you jailbreak it (or wait till february when they allow 3rd party apps) im pretty sure theres an app called apollo for iming.
