I am not sure what he is saying until he says "East Monroe" which is in North East Louisiana, (is still there), and would have been a place Johnson could have walked to from central Mississippi. He would have been forced however, to cross the Mississippi river to get there. Maybe Mark Twain helped him cross.
You do an absolutely remarkable job paying homage to the greats with a sprinkle of your own style mixed in. RJ would tip his cap to you, and that alone is what matters. Blues has the power to wash all other colors away and make us ALL turn blue! ME? I'm painted white, but I've been Blue for a LONG time! Stay tore down brother.
