@TatoMome I think Brian Fallon surpasses Mike Ness. Ness' music isn't appealing to a wide range of people, unlike Gaslight. Gaslight's music appeals to rock fans, punk fans, pop fans, and all of those in between.
@xDEMONIZEDx Well, I respect your point of view but I don't agree with you, 'cause I'm not measuring Mike Ness' quality on the amount of fans he has, instead of the quality of his lyrics and how it impacted on people who listens to it. I really think Mike Ness and Social D might not have as much "fans" as Gaslight Anthem, but we are way more passionate, truely and we all feel identified with it at some point in life.I propose you to listen to their songs and read about his life, is great. Thanks
@TatoMome You misunderstand me. My statement, which I felt was pretty clear, was that Brian Fallon is speaking to a wider range of people that Ness. His lyrics encompass experiences that no one is alien to. Music has been an intense part of my life since I was very, very young. I listened to Social D religiously from middle school on up throught high school. I just think that Ness and Social D are very one-dimensional, where Gaslight and Brian Fallon are not.
@xDEMONIZEDx Calm down. I didn't mean to "cheapen" them by putting 'TGA'. Most fans do the same anyway what difference does it make? They know who I'm talking about.
He is wearing an Austin Speed Shop Shirt! Thats badass!

@TatoMome Both my two biggest inspirations, I must say. Tim McIlrath and Trent Reznor just cutting behind Mike and Brian.

@COUCHmade Don't cheapen The Gaslight Anthem by shortening their name like all those mallcore bands do. They are The Gaslight Anthem.
