  • Yes, America made Haiti poor, just like it made Japan and South Korea poor.

There is a secret office in Washington that decides which country is going to sucessful and which one won't.

It is right next to the office that causes Libyans to kill each other.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. Very good information.

  • They wanted Aristide out because he actually cared about the country and was trying to do what was good for it.

  • Great video but the national palace of Haiti was built by Americans and that itself suffered great damages due to the earthquake, so it' s not all bad infrastructure. It was a really bad earthquake.

My house in Haiti which was built by grandfather who is an architect is still standing, there's a huge crack in it though.

  • @Denisehealthnut Denise you are wrong, Palais national was not built by Americans, it was designed and build by Haitians.

  • The TRUTH about Haiti that the News Media is NOT speaking of comes out.

    Excellent Video. 5 Stars.

  • And here we are, sending in the Marines before the aid.

  • Yes, and even blocking aid. See the video "Haiti Shock Doctrine".

  • . I study African American History/USA, I'm glad I did because it gave me evidence to be proud of my ancestors and my country. Yes! Haiti is poor , I knew why Haiti is like that . I recalled the beginning of the 80s when USA other the Haitians

  • Government to Killed all the Creole pigs and replace them by USA pig which need a lot money to take care because of special food to feed them from the US Misery starting there. Rice another factor. Distribute automatic gangs to the Haitians army and all of the thing they were discuss .USA always been prejudice to the Haitians people since independence 1804 occupation1915 and may more.

  • For some, it is impossible to understand that what they believe can cause much harm.

  • Not surprisingly, this is the first report of any depth I've seen about Haiti since the earthquake further devastated its good people.

  • Max Blumenthal presents the situation in an articulate, well researched manner- great job. Seems MM has devolved into sensationalism and emotional response and can't report on the effects of our causes- this subject would make a good show, as well.

  • Thanks Thom, great show.

There should be more people watching this.

  • Thanks Thom for covering this topic and interviewing Max. I just started reading Republican Gomorrah. I crave brilliance, this is way up there with classical music.

  • Fixed now, thanks.

  • Something's wrong with this upload -- it returns only "An error occurred, please try again later." Other videos are working fine -- maybe this one needs to be reuploaded?
