He was the first man to be axed by Rafa. Of all the players Rafa brought to Anfield, Alonso was the only one better than Murphy. All the others (especially Lucas - what a great name for a player whose abilities are science fiction) never contributed 10% of Danny's contribution. Who knows, if we appoint Roy Hodgson he might be back. Anyway, Danny Murphy is a Kop legend.
