the answer to this is long, detailed and complicated. Also, a major issue is that when some parts of the hidden details of this, the power is lost. (I have experienced a TON of amazing magic from these VERY helpful applied psychology "cartoons.")

Experience them with a "guard down, I'm just watching a "cartoon" attitude to benefit.
