Hi there. There is only one left of this exact model at my local Kmart store and I am thinking of purchasing it. Since you have had it for a while, maybe you could tell me if it would be a good purchase. How is it with dubbing from VHS to DVD? Is it pretty user friendly and is the quality good? And regarding the VCR...do you know if it has flash rewind? Flash rewind is where it can rewind a 6 HR T-120 tape in about a minute or two. Does it have an HDMI out slot on the back of the unit? Thanks :)
I thought from the heading that I was going to get a review of the Samsung DVD-375 but after 3 minutes of repetitive stating the bleeding obvious I gave up and in the additional time it has taken to type this you still haven't got around to the point.
I recently bought a Samsung DVD-VR475M mainly to record some of our home VHS movies to DVD. There's a big problem. It splits the footage on the DVD into lots of titles of different lengths: some are 30 secs long, some are 15 mins long. Because it has to stop and start the video to do this, it wrecks the footage. And I really wanted the whole of the each video to simply go across to the DVD in one big chunk, not lots of little ones. If anyone has any ideas about this, please let me know. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment. I'm sure that I will continue to do more of my videos soon. This ain't going anywhere, but I got rid of my 2004 Pioneer DVR-225 DVD recorder, because it got busted last week, so I threw it out in the dumpster and I replaced it with a better one. In addition to that, I got rid of my Emerson VCR which was about 5 years old, but it still works.

That's a cool DVD/VCR combo you have, Chris! I have one of those as well, but mine's a Panasonic.
