They're my favorite band, and Pixies aren't far behind, but Ryan Adams' "Wonderwall", Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah", Jimi's "All Along the Watchtower" and The White Stripes "Death Letter" are covers. The band needs to show creation on their part too. Then it becomes a whole new song. You know?

This is a great song and is simple as hell to play. I taught my girlfriend who had never picked up a guitar in her life the bass part in one sitting (all 4 notes of it) because she can sing the high pitched "woo-oo" part. That and the fact that every band on the face does a cover of this song pretty much prove what geniuses The Pixies are.
