One of the hard parts to playing parts with backing tracks: the parts you play might be louder/softer than the mix. The horns the guy on the right are playing (I think) are really blasting compared to the rest. It would be awesome to play that live though.
Un maestro, nada más. Gracias a él, pude apreciar la música en su esencia. Nadie compone como él, y le da ese feeling especial que hace características a sus composiciones. Excelente, en todas sus formas.
Soon to be released: An incredible new progressive rock/avant garde CD. This is a collaborative effort between keyboard players Michael Fleischman and the legendary Vince Dicola. Look for a mid year (or sooner) release. From what I understand, its pretty powerful stuff.
What a truly awe inspiring modern classical training theme. This track will still be listened to in the years to come and will always be associated with greatness!!
Man, you can tell that this song was made of pure win, I've never heard another song as compelling as this one. When I listen to it I just gotta work out til I drop dead
The ,,Rocky IV" - soundtrack is - to me - probably the best EVER made, it's pure (!) awesomeness and Vince DiCola is such a talented man. It is such a shame he "won" the Golden Raspberry - Award for this STUNNING soundtrack, it would have deserved at least an Oscar. Does anybody remember 1986 Oscar - winner for best soundtrack? Does anybody still listen to it? Exactly: NO! But thousands of peoples around the globe are still listening to DiColas motivating stuff... Such a pity! :-)
@MrKnopf Dude I know him winning that award proves one thing those raspery guys are morons who don't know the first thing about music, i am a producer and musician myself and dicola's music is some of the best music ever made without a doubt and i have listened to music from all over, all genres and styles and this guy is still one of the only people who really staggers me with his brilliance, for gods sake vince release a techno album.
@MrKnopf Are you fucking kidding me? Are you trying to tell me he won the Golden Raspberry for the Rocky IV soundtrack? If so that is the biggest joke on the planet as this is one of the finest film soundtracks in history!
@MrKnopf 1986 soundtrack winner was Jerry Goldsmith for Hossiers as far as google tells !! Actually I do have the Rocky 4 soundtrack in my car and I was just listening to it this past friday ;-) , always been since first saw the movie , not sure if you know but they recently released the Full Score CD which is just the music and it has the other pieces that weren't in the original Soundtrack .. check it out !
@MrKnopf well actually round midnight is a good soundtrack too, and it is still listen by millions of people, i love the rocky one, wich is more pop like, but anyway
wow.... i have been waiting for a long time to hear something like this from Mr. DiCola..... other than the rocky sdtk what else is out there from him?

@MrKnopf So what do you infer from that ? Golden Raspberry award >>> Oscar
Oscar still sucks the same as it used to do before. Its biased in MANY ways.
