Another good message Thomas ,I was hoping you could expound on "sins unto death" and sins of ignorance.Maybe a couple of verses on the sins of death,I guess I dont understand the difference completely.

Even in the Old Testament this held true. "And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him." Numbers 15:28 Then you read Hebrews 10 and you see it is now even more strict not that Christ has come and died and shed His blood for us.

My cousin told me that I should fear God but that love replaces fear as we are perfected and that love is a "better motivation anyway." Is she right or what should I tell her? I know in my heart shes saved but I don't want her to propagate anything that would be dangerous to someone else.

Hey Brother, good question. But Fear is never replaced by anything. fear is an attribute of the Lord. Isaiah 11. Fear is wisdom and wisdom isn't replaced by love. it's two separate gifts. But Fear of God is the principle thing. Proverbs 4:7. Love is the keeping of God's Commandments. 1 John 5:3 We only understand all things by God's Word. Lord bless :)

Mercy isnt something we should take for granted. it took the death of the Son of God upon the cross for us to attain mercy.

when you speak about loving God & obedience, it's analogous to the book of James where he states >

Jam 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

ie. > if a man say "i love the Lord" yet has no obedience, i will show my love for the Lord by my obediance. Amen !
