Johnson got real lucky there with that caution and beating Burton out to the end of pit road. Otherwise, he would had been in the same situation as Kyle Busch and fighting through traffic at the end, with probably an almost guaranteed 1-2 RCR finish. Vegas has been unpredictable too these past couple of years, so looking forward to see what happens there.
btw, Newman 36th in points, Kahne 33rd in points, ouch.
sucks that Kyle got caught a lap down there, he and Greg could have gave Jimmie alot of trouble at the end. Harvick had it won, just made a slight mistake. i hate California, sometimes the finishes are great but 90% of the race is always boring.
i agree. the saturday stuff is great (so why change to a cot?), but sunday stuff stinks. what's the deal? me, i think sunday cars are way too fast, way too much hp.

wonder how much faster burton could have kept running.....was anybody listening to what his spotter was telling him right then about the 48?
