Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems. It is the beginning of the bigger industry in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.
Hi, can you help me out. I am trying to communicate the Xbee modules together but I can't. I have a much more simple setup then you do, I am connecting an 8051 with the Xbee transimetter and the receiver is connected with a PC. Any help would be great pls since I can see you worked with a micro too :).
I made a portable waether station, and am trying to send the serial data from the micro to the PC. The serial UART data that I am sending it in HEX, for example. the Temp sensor reads 00010010, the 89C51 converts that to hex and sends it through the TX pin.
I have updated the Xbee firm ware by using the X-CTU software, I connected the Coordinator(xbee) with the micro where micro's TX goes to xbee's RX pin, all supply and inputs to xbee are at 3.3V. Still can;t receive anything to the PC.
Which baud rate are you using for the microcontroller's serial port ? Is the microcontroller sending data to the Zigbee ? perhaps you can take a look with an oscilloscope
how do you wire it without a shield?

this may sound so noobish I never used a servo before, where can I get that mounting hardware you used? or is it custom?

I bought the modules xbee, but can not do their configuration, Do you have some manual configuration of modules?
