Leon is probably the only real raw talent that X Factor has ever found but he needed A LOT of work and investment after the show and unfortunately, X Factor is about making a quick buck and not a long term project. It's a shame for him, but his voice is great. He'll get better opportunities and presumably he's very young.

I think this arrangement was too fast for any singer, even accomplished ones! First time on stage, and not comfortable with dancing, only 18 years old! Think about what you were capable of at 18. And yet his amazing voice still shines through. Was just way too fast and he had to remember dance steps and he's not a dancer.

The vocal was pretty good actually but the jazzy arrangement would put a lot of people off. Personally I didn't think he deserved the comments that Simon gave him - not constructive and actually very cruel for his first performance - and good on Leon for not crumbling after a disastrous start in the competition.
