Oh, how I wish I was there! But for now, my ministry is to my elderly, widowed mother, who is 86 and legally blind. At the same time, I am soaking up the Word & praying one day God will open a new door. Thankfully, my church has a huge worldwide long & short-term missions ministry we can support or partake in.  One of our Seminary graduates shared with my group that he was on his way to Rome - the "Eternal City with no Eternal Life." All of Italy is shrouded in darkness, like much of Europe.

I love America, don't get me wrong. But America is sick and decaying right now, because the public education system is today's teens church. 48 hours a week in school (ungodly school) against 2 hours a week at church?. The American missionaries that went around the world grew up in public schools that read the Bible everyday. Today they kick you out of school if you attempt to evangelize within it!. America's leadership at this point is openly anti-christian. Homeschool seems to be only option.

Also please remember, much of the world has been evangelized by Americans. One of our missionaries was killed recently because he was not afraid to go into a Muslim country. Now I don't think you are doing a bad work. But most "evangelization", instead of teaching the Bible, teaches American customs. American Christians are Bible-starved, for the most part. Youngins who go to "evangelize" other countries, who have not even read the whole Bible, and dress in a very objectionable way.

I know missionaries and they bring SOME American influence as to how we organize and run a church, but they also adapt to the customs of the place they are working. The love of God in us must act and express itself!!
