The fanciful derivation of "tempter" has even less to do with reality: the "two trees" look like two trees NOW, in the 21st century. 2000 years ago, in their original form, they weren't trees at all, but a component meaning "textile fibers". And with "cover" they form a component which, again, is present ONLY to provide sound, not meaning: a sound like ma or mwa. There simply are no trees or covers in this character (likewise no "demon" or "devils" -- the other piece simply means "ghost")..
All these attempts to find Genesis in Chinese characters are based on a total misinterpretation and lack of knowledge about the etymology of Chinese characters...the two trees here, supposedly representing trees in Eden, are together a character pronounced lin, which is present with the part below for the sole purpose of providing a phonetic component to the overall character, giving a rough approximation of its pronunciation, "jin"...they have nothing whatsoever to do with the meaning.
why are you still trying to brainwash others??? why not stopping, c'mon tell the truth don't hide, you christians want money power, i see in the vatican you people have lots of rich stuff, you want more believers soo you can have more money
wait wait, i've heard that eve turned into lilith the wife of the devil, not died by touching in the tree, and it was not touching in the tree it was eating the forbidden fruit
You are a strange man...you know the Bible is not hard to get a hold of, if you want to check the story told there for yourself, i think it even comes in a paperback now...and that passage is only a few dozen words long...so, i am sure it won't strain your eyes or anything.
Yea i know chinese, but my computer doesn't allow me to type hanzi, lol
Anyway, i believe in the theory proposed in your video. That is, the God worshipped by the Chinese at the very start is the same God as the Judeo-Christian God.
Yep =) Please pray for my people (the Chinese) to be saved =) God bless!

禁- mean ban not warning
神 word is correct
示 is also correct
魔 means magic not tempter
广 means canton not cover
鬼 means ghost not demon or devil

Why would I need a Portuguese man, to teach me 漢字?
Your arguing things you clearly do not have a comfortable grasp on.
BreshiBaraElohim 2 years ago
jin means ban BUT can also mean warning
muo means magic BUT can also mean tempter
guang means canton BUT can also mean cover
gui means ghost BUT can also mean demon or devil
I'm chinese, and please understand that each individual chinese word can have many meanings
Fakeslimshady 2 years ago
Yes, i understand that, but also sounds themselves are not helpful to describe meaning. Can you write in 漢字? Because "ma" has like 5 meanings.
If you really know chinese, then please use the Character for discussion, not the sound.

the character 鬼-gui meas ghost not demon, devil means in chinese 恶魔
SeriousSam505 2 years ago
恶魔 is one word, so is 鬼, and now you can see that the 魔, of 恶魔, which you said means devil, is the one you just denied as being devil/tempter.
悪 means bad.
You are way out of your element here.
