  • so CUTE!!

  • THATS AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Thank you so so much skyMetalchick. Thinking about it, that makes sense, starting off with pink. Anyway I did not get the right colour for my choir boys, but they are truly amazing.I cannot wait to decorate my christmas cake. I would make a another set using the pink fondant, then red.. Also a good idea would be to let the white frills dry first before attaching them as they tend to drop. Thanks again for that amazing tutorial.

  • I tried these today and for a first effort they came out okay. The frillling of the collars was challenging and getting the white fondant red was also tricky. I almost emptied a bottle of red red, and no taste red.Anyone knows how? Please share.Thank you for such detailed tutoring.looking forward to an easy "Christmas tree video".The idea of choir boys & christmas trees as a cake top appeals to me.

  • @winscot1 I heard starting with pink fondant and then colouring it red was the way to go, as it had less of a distance to travel to make it red.

  • cute

  • Bellisimo :)

  • the table is too short for her...i can only imagine the backaches her had!

  • Ain't it peachy keen? :)

  • I found out that in US and Uk you don´t say same term about icing and gumpaste or? What i s icing? SP? or MMF

I like this lady. She is quick and easy to learn from. Very talanted!

  • @ChaneelNo5 Icing is made up of icing sugar and water usually or its like the Betty Crocker Icing.

Gumpaste is sugarpaste - it's just a modelling clay which is edible

  • @a13x4 maby it is diferent in the us. Are you from the us?

  • @ChaneelNo5 a13x4 is wrong. In the uk, Icing IS sugarpaste (basically, MMF), which is totally different to gumpaste, Gumpaste contains a gum additive, which helps it set hard. Sugarpaste, how ever is just sugar, it will form a shell, but it wont dry Rock hard, thats what you use to cover entire cakes. Gumpaste is for decorative things like figurines, flowers.

  • @xdevilxbabex2003 many thanks!!! XXXXXX

  • @xdevilxbabex2003

Actually I checked it up on Google, so wasn't just making it up because I'm from the Uk :P. Icing isn't sugar paste here.

  • @a13x4 You'll find regionally, its not called sugar paste, or fondant. . its just icing. Gumpaste and sugar paste are two very different things and its not something you want people to get mistaken

  • @xdevilxbabex2003

"Gum paste is really a pliable "sugar dough", mixed with gums, which makes it easy to shape like modeling clay. Gum paste is versatile and is stronger than Fondant. "

"Icing, also called frosting in the United States, is a sweet often creamy glaze made of sugar with a liquid such as water or milk, that is often enriched with ingredients such as butter, egg whites, cream cheese, or flavorings and is used to cover or decorate baked goods, such as cakes or cookies. "

  • And its not call "ROLLABLE ICING OR WHATEVER" its call fondant

  • This may be very late to reply but in britain we called it icing not fondant Geeez ever heard of diiferent grammar like you say pants we say trousers different words SAME

    MEANING !!!!!!

  • Actually, in the uk, Its called Ready to roll icing, or which ever term, we never use the term 'fondant'. Its the same thing, just different places different terms.
