The choreography is great in the sense of creativity, but it's hard to focus because there's so much going on at one time. I didn't know where to look! It would be nice if there was just one section where all girls were dancing the same choreography at the same time in sync. This was just a little bit too 'all over the place' for me. Just my opinion. but you're dancers are amazing! (:
i'd like to see this choreography done on a larger scale with some possible added time breaks to further expound upon the gorgeous kaleidoscope effect this piece has. esp love the sit and diminish/shrug, and couple genuflect. lighting could be great too.
Thanks for all the lovely comments! I had an amazing time setting this piece. My dancers were amazing. As far as the costumes...there was absolutely no budget given this was a choreographic installation so these were all I could find. I've used shorts and american apparel tanks in a duet before so I was going for something a little different with this one. Shorts and tanks just didn't seem right for this piece. You win some you lose some...
