@cory3883 Like Sethz said, the bright one is Venus. If all the planets in our solar system were lined up from the Sun, then Venus would be the closest to Earth, but because they roatate round the Sun at different speeds, the closest planet at any given time varies(Venus, Mars or Jupiter I think). Venus does look very bright and large sometimes, maybe because it's nearer to the Earth at that time. The other bright one that seems to flicker red/white or even blue sometimes is Mars.

Great show!!! The idea that science and the Bible do not mix is the belief of those who do not believe in the Bible. Many scientists would disagree with that statement. Atheism is absolutely a faith-faith in man, science, aliens or your own intelligence. Unless you are an animal, you have chosen not to believe in a Creator and put your trust in something else. I, for one, do not understand how anyone can study this planet, as well as the universe, and not see evidence of intelligent design.

This first quarter really annoyed me . Yes i am an atheist, so i respect others beliefs but to say that atheism is a system of fait is really nonsense. The transiction of natural gods (trees, fish , cats etc....) to abstracts gods that gave humans the sense of superiority to all the rest was was an absolute tragedy .
