On the album, Thom sings two tracks the whole time. One is panned right, the other left. One goes off on the high note and the other continues singing the chorus. It would be interesting to see Ed sing that part along with it, but that guitar part is tricky to play and sing at the same time...

I've been asking the SAME DAMN THING. Seriously. Maybe Ed's a self-conscious mother fucker who's thinking "this song's too beautiful, I can't harmonize on it... I'm just... too weak. (._.)" Maybe the guitar work on this song is too complicated for him to sing at the same time. That's definitely more likely. Still, I can watch this and sing back up at the same time. That's kinda fun.

I agree that Radiohead is leagues ahead of Coldplay, but still give coldplay due credit, you can take points away from them cos they plagiarise their own work a bit, clocks & speed of sound are far too similar. they could never produce something as incredible as Let Down though

this is the first Radiohead song I've ever listened to and I like their mellow sound very much; I don't know why I've never heard their music before. I guess they've not had much air time on TV when I was watching. Coldplay, who has def. hit it big in a major way in the U.S., was supposedly influenced by Radiohead.

Chubz123, I really have to disagree, in my opinion Radiohead quite often outperforms themselves live than in the studio. Theres a reason why they are currently ranked 2nd in "Best Live Acts" in the world. They are almost like a contemporary Pink Floyd. Try and download the entire concert of Radiohead's 2003 Glastonbury performance! You will be amazed!

i thought they didn't play it a lot live because Thom doesn't like it. also, in an interview Jonny (i think it was) said that there's a song on OK Computer that he absolutely can't stand. not saying, it's necessarily this one, but you know, that would explain why they just don't want to play certain songs.

I was actually at this show - they were touring in support of OK Computer. The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium isn't a huge venue, and it was a pretty intimate show. I think this was my all-time favorite concert.
