I really cant stand the whole camera idea in the nano. For starters, even though you can shoiot video on it you can't take photos. Which if your like me is a lot more usefull than video. And why don't they shove a camera in the touch. I no they have to be carefull that they don't make the touch to much like the iPhone but it would be a lot more practical in a touch screen device.

The Nano can't take stills because the sensor to allow it is too big to fit inside it. Simple as that really. Taking video requires a smaller sensor than taking stills, so they went with video rather than have to compromise the quality of stills or bloat the devices size.
