@CommSperandei My father was an opera fanatic&his favorite tenors were,Caruso,Volpi,DeMuro Zenatello& DelMonaco.The tenor that he ultimately listen to the most was DelMonaco.MDM seemed to intrigue him the most,because of his tecnique,impeccable diction&phrasing,which only CORELLI mentions.MDM'Svoice was even, from top to bottom with Great hi-notes.He was always steady & reliable with the ability to call on his voice for whatever was needed.He also had a beautiful quality without mannerisms.
